Itinerary
After pickup from your central Dubai hotel, travel by air-conditioned minivan into the neighboring emirate of Sharjah for your private 4.5-hour tour. On route, hear about the history of the city of Sharjah, the emirate’s namesake capital, set on the shores of the Arabian Gulf and nicknamed the Pearl of the Gulf. Learn how the city boasts a lovely, restored Old Town complete with a fort, heritage areas, souks and museums. As you travel, let your guide know if there’s anything you want to see more of during your visit. Your tour is private so your itinerary can be tailored to your interests.
On route, hear about Sharjah’s history from your guide and stop first at the picturesque Buhairah Corniche with a photo-stop at the magnificent Al Noor Mosque before proceeding to the largest mosque in Sharjah, King Faisal Mosque for some pictures.
Next, continue to the King Faisal Mosque, the largest of the emirate’s 300 mosques. Admire the splendid building and learn how it was built to accommodate 15,000 worshippers.
Next visit the Islamic Civilization Museum, celebrating Islamic contribution to the World Heritage.
Then drive to Sharjah’s ‘Old Town’ for a stroll through the restored traditional Souk Al Arsa market.
Visit Sharjah Heritage Museum for a glimpse of a traditional family home and typical Arabian Gulf architecture.
The last stop before returning is at Souk Al Markazi– a treasure trove of carpets, jewellery and handicrafts. Your tour then concludes with a drop-off at your Dubai hotel.

- Pickup will be in a Private suitable air-conditioned vehicle with Private Guide.
- Children up to 5 years of age must be provided with a child safety seat. Kindly let us know if you have an infant 5 years and below joining the tour. Infant seat will be provided without any additional charges.
- Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
- Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.
- The local tour operator reserves the right to cancel any part of the scheduled programs because of government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions, or other similar circumstances.
- Guest can discuss with our tour guide and customize the itinerary, guest have to pay directly if any additional entrance ticket applicable which is not included in the above itinerary.
- Souk Al Markazi is closed for renovation instead of that we will stop at Iranian Market

We had a tour to Sharjah Emirate today. We saw great sights. The organization was really good. Especially through Nimesh, our tour guide, we learned a lot about the Emirate and people. We were also very well explained to life and culture and all questions could be answered super. We took a half-day tour from Dubai to Sharjah. Who accompanied us was the guide Mehul Bulsara who was super friendly and attentive. The tour as a whole surprised us positively. Because it is only 4:30h of the walk, we thought we would not know much, but on the contrary, we went to museums, markets and learned a lot about the local history and culture. We recommend to any Cover who has more travel days in Dubai.

<p>Since having problems with previous two tours in Dubai, we were given a different driver for this one. He was excellent and the tour was very interesting. He took us to the museum which was great and other places of interest. Plenty of photo stops. He didn't rush us and it was a very enjoyable morning. We were told by our previous day's guide that there was nothing to see in Sharjah. There was plenty. Would recommend this tour.</p>
