I had an unforgettable experience in the Hanging Church (Al-Muallaqa) of the Coptic Quarter. Its Byzantine architecture, elevated above the Roman ruins, creates a mystical atmosphere full of history. The interior, with its antique frescoes and soft light, is thought-provoking. An unmissable place of peace and spirituality in Cairo.

Small church located in old Cairo built in the 4th or 5th century and is believed to be the place where the holy family took refuge in their flight to Egypt from the persecution of Herod.
