All masterpieces of Arts are being transferred from the Cairo Museum to the Grand Museum until 1 November 2023. All historical eras are represented in the museum's collection of artwork, although the Archaic Period, the Old Kingdom, the Middle Kingdom, and the New Kingdom are given particular attention. Learn about the New Kingdom masterpieces created during the reigns of Ramses II, Amenophis II, Thotmoses III, Hatshepsut, and Amenophis II. View Hatshepsut's Head. Visit the gold-plated chapels, gilded coffins, golden mask, and golden sarcophagus that were found in Child-King Tut-Ankh-Amon's tomb in the Valley of Kings in Luxor's West Desert. I had an unforgettable experience on this full-day tour that perfectly combined Egypt’s ancient wonders, culture, and vibrant city life. Everything was smooth and well-planned from start to finish. We started the day at the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, which was absolutely breathtaking. Seeing these world wonders up close is something I’ll never forget. Our guide, Emile, was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history, and he made everything come alive with his explanations. Afterward, we visited the Papyrus Museum, where we learned how ancient Egyptians made papyrus and saw some beautiful artwork. Then we stopped at an essential oils/perfume shop, where we experienced traditional Egyptian essences and had a short demonstration—it was a unique and relaxing experience. Next, we enjoyed a delicious lunch (included in the tour), which was a nice break and a chance to taste some authentic Egyptian food. In the afternoon, we explored the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar, full of color, local crafts, spices, and souvenirs—such a vibrant and lively place. Emile gave us great tips on bargaining and navigating the market. We ended the day at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, where we saw a vast collection of ancient artifacts, including some of Tutankhamun’s treasures and the royal mummies. Emile's insights throughout made everything so much more meaningful and easy to understand. Overall, this tour was the perfect way to see many of Cairo’s highlights in one day. I highly recommend it—and especially our amazing guide, Emile, who made the entire experience unforgettable.

Emil showed us the pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian museum and the cave church. Together with a driver, he will pick you up, take you everywhere and the driver will be waiting for you when you return. Emil is a very knowledgeable guide, knows a lot and explains everything very well. I would definitely recommend him! Nothing is too much, just stop somewhere in between, no problem! Great excursion to the pyramids of Giza with the guide Émile who took the time to explain the history of the pyramids to us and at the same time find lots of places for souvenir photos. The meal was also excellent I highly recommend !
