Enjoy the rich history and culture of Tokyo's brightest Buddhist Temple. Enjoy shopping and street food before having a break for lunch ( on your own arrangement and cost). Spend the afternoon exploring the colorful Harajuku, visit Meiji Shrine and visit the iconic Shibuya Crossing, known for being the world’s business intersection. Discuss the location to end your tour with your guide in Shibuya, or head back to your hotel. With advance requests, we can customize your tour as much as possible within the timeframe!

Excellent guide. Very thoughtful and knowledgeable. He showed us much of the city and explained much. I became familiar with Tokyo in one day.
Shota Tanabe (a.k.a. - Sho) was our guide for a one day tour of Tokyo. He met us at the hotel and the first thing he did after meeting us was sit down and explained our itinerary for the day using his iPad maps. This was very helpful as we have never been here prior and only have a short time in town. He was very knowledgeable about the city, its historical sites as well as its current culture and of many of the sites that make Tokyo so unique from other cities and countries. Although he had a great deal to cover in a short time, he never lost site of insuring that we were comfortable with all the different things we did. Although we had a car at our disposal, it still required about 5 miles of walking when all was said and done. He ensured we rested when needed and ensured that when it came to lunch, we were comfortable with our food choices and restaurant. Sho was very personable, always open and shared things about his life as we did ours. His English was very good, we was very well spoken and took the time to explain much of the history of different parts of the city as well as its religious and cultural backgrounds. Seiko was our guide and she was amazing. She took us where ever we asked along with the scheduled tours and was full of knowledge. She explained the shrines and went into depth about the history and differnt aspects of each shrine or temple. Seiko and I connected on the fact that I enjoy anime and she took us to a special gyoza shop called Dandadan which had its final day of collaboration with the anime titled “Dandadan.” It wanted to get a ring made and she called someone she knew and we scheduled a ring making the same day and it turned out awesome! Seiko was amazing as well as the tour!

We had an excellent full day tour with Syun. He was very knowledgeable and able to impart his knowledge on Japan and Tokyo clearly to us. He took us to both popular tourist points and also to some less well known places. He also Easily accommodated a couple of specialist requests we had made for things we wanted to see - even though we did not know the specific places to visit. One was the Cherry Blossom and he took us to a park that had spectacular trees in bloom. Other parks we visited privately on the next day were not as good. He also assisted us to obtain the card you need for all Japanese local rail and instructions on how to navigate Tokyo Station - which is huge!

My Mom and I had a full day private tour with Shyn on Nov 16, 2024. It was a pleasure having Shyn's joyful company and informative guidance. His omotenashi made our experience very comfortable. He planned the trip, created a comfortable setting for my Mom, created a fun atmosphere, and provided many insights along the way. 🙏🙏 My Mom has occasional mobility issues and can not hear well in crowds. We made a request to adjust the itinerary for my Mom's capacity the day before our tour. Shyn was receptive to our request and created an itinerary that allowed more time for rest while seeing various sights. He even provided a step stool to ease my Mom's efforts getting in and out of the car! The itinerary was perfect for us. It included both historical and modern sights, which provided a balanced taste of passion and enthusiasm among Tokyo citizens - old and new. We also had time to explore Thank you again! Such a great day in Tokyo. Loved everything and the lunch was awesome. Machi was the best. We saw the sky tower and the Budah temple.
