Here is my honest review of iEgypt. Keep in mind that iEgypt positions itself as a premium tour operator and charges accordingly. With that in mind, I want to provide an objective assessment of whether the experience justified the price paid. Pros They created a comprehensive itinerary that provided a holistic experience of Egypt, covering many of the country's key historical and cultural attractions. Responses to queries were generally prompt and professional throughout the planning process. In most instances, both the drivers and tour guides arrived on time and adhered to the schedule. The company provided thoughtful parting gifts, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. Cons The company appears to rely heavily on freelance tour guides, and this was the source of several issues during the trip. Many of the guides spoke English very quickly, making it difficult at times to understand the information being presented. This can be particularly challenging when learning about Egypt's rich history and culture. There were occasional factual inconsistencies between guides. For example, the first guide in Cairo stated that all mummies remain in their original tombs, while a guide in Luxor said that all mummies are housed in museums in Cairo. Such conflicting information can undermine confidence in the accuracy of the commentary provided. While I have no issue with tipping and am happy to reward exceptional service, I was uncomfortable with how tipping expectations were established upfront. Guests were encouraged to tip almost everyone involved, including horse-cart drivers, janitors, restaurant staff, and others. Given the premium price already paid to iEgypt, I believe tipping should remain discretionary and be based on service that goes above and beyond expectations rather than being treated as an obligation. The most disappointing experience was the day trip to the Fayoum Desert Oasis, which has the potential to be one of the highlights of any Egypt itinerary. Surprisingly, no English-speaking guide was assigned to the tour. The driver spoke very limited English and later handed us over to a local guide in Fayoum who also spoke very little English. Although the local guide did his best and was friendly throughout the experience, communication was extremely difficult. At one point, he even delegated parts of the guiding responsibilities, particularly around the waterfall area to his eight year old son. While the child was pleasant and enthusiastic, this was not what I would expect from a premium tour operator charging premium prices. The heavy reliance on freelance guides results in inconsistent and often substandard delivery, including poor English communication, factual inaccuracies, and professional practices. This is a fundamental flaw in the product, not a minor issue. For the price being charged, this level of inconsistency is unacceptable. The Fayoum excursion in particular fell well below reasonable expectations due to the complete lack of an English-speaking guide, which severely impacted the experience. Overall, while the logistics are functional, the core value of the service which is the guiding experience is unreliable and does not justify the premium pricing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend iEgypt to travelers expecting a consistently high-quality, professional tour experience.

As a first-time solo traveler, I was a little nervous before this trip, but iEgypte Tours and Travel made the entire experience absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Everything was so well organized, professional, and stress-free that I felt comfortable and supported throughout the whole journey. Special thanks to Sir Joe Samy and Momen Sobhy. A huge thank you also to my amazing tour guide Mohammed Sayed, who was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, patient, my personal photographer and truly passionate about sharing the history and culture of each place we visited in Cairo and I always felt safe. I also want to give special recognition to our driver, who was always punctual, professional, and very courteous. The rides were smooth and comfortable. I’m so grateful for this wonderful experience and would highly recommend iEgypte to anyone, especially first-time solo travelers looking for a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable trip. We were a group of 8 and they ensured we were all taken care of accommodated our needs. We were able to express our likes and dislikes and they ensured our experience was fulfilled and made us happy. We decided to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum this past December and went looking for a local guide. We found iEgypt through a search, and their 3-day itinerary was exactly what we were looking for. From the start, the service was excellent: • Flexibility: When I requested a higher-tier hotel than the one initially suggested, they accommodated us and changed the booking immediately. • Communication: All coordination was handled quickly and efficiently via WhatsApp, which made the planning process stress-free. • Reliability: They are true to their word—everything promised in the schedule was delivered exactly as described. • Professionalism: Our driver was always prompt and very polite, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, adding so much depth to our visits. Overall, it was a seamless and very positive experience. If you are looking for a trustworthy agency in Egypt, we highly recommend iEgypt!

I booked our tours around Cairo with iEgypt Tours. From the beginning, they were very responsive on WhatsApp, and I made clear that I was tall and needed a spacious car. Overall, the tours were well organized, with knowledgeable guides - except for the guides in the Fayoum Trip Safari, who didn't speak English, and they were rushing us throughout the day. The main problem was the cars used by this company: they were old, damaged vehicles, and the Jeep for the safari was literally falling apart, with no leg space. I understand now that this agency hires freelancers, drives, and guides, so the quality can be inconsistent.

Day 1-2 , Luxor: We travelled to Luxor and Cairo with iEgypt as a family with our 5 year old son. Our taxi drive from Hurghada to Luxor was comfortable. We were accompanied by our guide , Hussain for the East and the West bank temple visists in Luxor. The guide was a doctorate holder in Egyptology. Explained and translated the inscriptions wonderfully well. Patientfully answered all our questions, helped us with pictures. Was very polite and friendly. We would have been very happy to have had him as our guide for the rest of the tour. The food and restaurant we were taken to had good vegetarian options. Day 2-3, Cairo: Our guide in Cairo was also informative and helpful. We spent a good lot of time in the GEM museum. We also explored the Giza Pyramids and Saqqara the next day. It went reasonably well , we had to skip lunch but managed with the litter snacks. The van we drove with was very comfortable and luxurious in space and the driver was very polite as well. , Day 4, Cairo- Our guide for the last day was polite. the highlight was the lunch stop we were take to, Abu Tarek . The food was excellent .We enjoyed it and bid farewell after the walk along the Khan el-Khalili street. The driver was very accommodative, he drove us through the insane traffic from the Giza to Heliopolis. The trips and guiding throughout was punctual and as per plan. We felt totally secured in their hands criss-crossing through Egypt. We could keep in touch with the iEgypt coordinators at all times. Overall our experience with iEgypt was great. We appreciate the services offered and would highly recommend them :)

iEgypt was great. Organized a private customized all day tour in Cairo and another all day private tour in Luxor. Everything went perfectly. The local drivers and tour guides were fantastic, super knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was on time and the communication with the I Egypt team was smooth. Highly recommend this tour group if you want to plan ahead from your home country and be connected with a local guide and driver. Plans are completely customizable and a fair price. The team is caring and friendly and puts you completely at ease and take care of everything and give you plenty of options.

We had some amazing guides and drivers who were so kind and considerate of us as we are an older couple. I highly recommend iEgypt and thank them for arranging this wonderful trip for us. Egypt is not to be missed.

Booked my trip with IEgypt last minute and they put together an amazing itinerary for in very short time. Everything about my experience with them was wonderful. They set me up with absolutely fantastic tour guides and drivers. My tour guide in Cairo and Giza was Mohammed, he was very knowledge and knew lots of cool hidden picture spots and all sorts of tips and tricks. My driver Nehad in Cairo and Giza was the man and always there waiting. In Aswan my tour guide Walid was very funny and welcoming it felt like i knew him my whole life. My driver Fla Vio from Abu Simbel to Luxor I spent 9 hours with in the car and we had a blast as well as a safe ride. In Luxor my tour guide Ali was incredible, such a nice guy with so much knowledge, I could have spent a month with him showing me around he was just spectacular. Overall I could not be more happy with IEgypt they were very responsive and handled all my last minute changes beautifully. Would recommend to anyone who wants an unforgettable trip to Egypt!!!
