This driving night tour will take you to all the must-see sights of Athens. If you are visiting Athens for the first time, this tour provides an excellent introduction to one of the greatest cities of the ancient world. During your driving tour (approx. 2 hrs) you will see: - Propylaea, - The Parthenon - Erechtheion - The Temple of Athena Nike, Looking down from the Acropolis you'll see the two ancient theaters in its shadow: - The Theater of Dionysus , the oldest Greek theater (built in the 5th century BC), - Odeon of Herod Atticus, erected in AD 161. The Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro is a multi-purpose stadium in Athens, Greece. One of the main historic attractions of Athens,it is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble.
Lycabettus hill also known as Lycabettos, Lykabettos or Lykavittos is a Cretaceous limestone hill in Athens, Greece at 300 meters (908 feet) above sea level.
The Arch of Hadrian, most commonly known in Greek as Hadrian's Gate, is a monumental gateway resembling – in some respects – a Roman triumphal arch. It has been proposed that the arch was built to celebrate the adventus (arrival) of the Roman Emperor Hadrian and to honor him for his many benefactions to the city.
One of the most unique experiences is the changing of the guards in Athens. The presidential guards or Evzones, guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Hellenic Parliament building around the clock, through the coldest winter night or hottest summer day. Evzones are an elite unit of the Greek army and it is a very high honour for a Greek guard to be selected as an Evzone
Mikrolimano it is a popular location, attracting people from all over Athens. It is a beautiful little harbour with fishing boats, small boats and luxury yachts. If you like fish and seafood have lunch or dinner at one of its famous taverns. many Greek films have used this location because of its idyllic atmosphere.
Plaka is the old historical neighborhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Plaka is built on top of the residential areas of the ancient town of Athens. It is known as the "Neighborhood of the Gods" due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological site

Fantastic Nighttime excursion including stunning Acropolis, harbor, and hill views. We finished the night at a local favorite restaurant of our guide, Anestes. We couldn’t have asked for a more hospitable host and driver.

A waste of money. The tour was just a drive around the city looking out tinted windows and busy streets so could hardly see anything but traffic. Driver didn’t even try to slow down or park so we could stop to look at anything. Only time we stopped to get out of car was to see changing of the guards at the back of the parliament building, which was less crowded but not nearly as impressive as the front of the grand building. Our tour was only two hours, not 4 as stated in the tour itinerary. In end driver asked for cash for the extra fee for airport pickup, which I was not aware of. Don’t recommend this tour at all.

You were given the details on the spot by the driver but you didn't want to go for the dinner.Reffering to the extra cost for the airport pick up, it is an additional service, not included in the original tour you booked. We rearranged the schedule so the driver would pick you up from the airport with the additional fare, for which you were informed via Viator communication platform. The driver presented you that screenshot on the spot. Furthermore, in the tour description of the tour it is clearly mentioned that the airport is not included in the pickup locations for the tour.On that day a concert at the Panathinaikon stadium was held and it was not accessible. the city center was blocked by the police, and the driver explained the reason of this incident.As always, our team tries to offer the best possible options to conduct safely the tour in the glorious city of Athens, given the real life circumstances and following the local authorities instructions.
The tour operator was flexible with our plans and adapted to what we needed. Good communication on booking and pick-up. We had a very nice driver who was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. We drove around the city as he gave us history. It was a little hard to see some of the sites but we could have chosen to get out of the van. The changing of the guard was interesting. This is a good tour for arrival as it gave a good overview of the city.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Athens at Night private tour. We were picked up at our cruise ship and returned there after the tour. All through the tour we were told history of Athens and interesting facts. Any questions we had were answered completely. Yes, Athens is a beautiful city, but you must see Athens at night, too. It was truly magical!! Our driver took us to great view points to see the monuments lit up at night. I will never forget this night. Thank you so much!!

We had a great time with the Athens by night tour. It is an excellent way to enjoy Athens at night. First they picked us up from our hotel with a nice mercedes black Van and then directly to an authentic greek restaurant. The entertainments were great.
