The guide was not involved with us at all. We left before the shops were open. We were told to start at 8 and received a message in middle of the night that we were starting at 9.
Guide was not well coordinated. He was going to bring me to the wrong market. However, things worked out in the end though there was scant commentaries from the guide.
The experience was authentic, up close and personal to the culture, educational, and insightful. Ahmed Mahmoud was an exceptional guide! He did wonderful.
