Perfect excursions in and around Cape Town – highly recommended!

We, a three-generation family from Switzerland including our two-year-old granddaughter, spent a week traveling around Cape Town and the surrounding area. Together with Jean, we went on several excursions – and they were simply perfect. Jean is extremely knowledgeable, open-minded, and flexible, and knows how to adapt to his guests' needs. He was always attentive to our needs, always punctual, and took us to many interesting places that we would never have discovered on our own. Even with a small child, we always felt well taken care of. His athletic side is also particularly impressive: Jean also leads hiking tours, offering an exciting opportunity to actively experience South Africa's nature – we will definitely take this into account on our next visit. We can wholeheartedly recommend Jean – for couples, families, and anyone who wants to discover Cape Town with a competent, friendly, and reliable guide.

À spectacular day day packed with nature, History, and Delightful Sips.

This tour was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we set off, each stop added a new layer of wonder and excitement. The scenic drive to Cape of Good Hope was mesmerizing—where two oceans seemingly collide in a breathtaking dance of blues. Standing at the edge of the continent was surreal. At Boulders Beach, the adorable African penguins stole our hearts. Watching them waddle and swim in their natural habitat was equal parts charming and unforgettable. It's impossible to leave without a smile. Then came Hout Bay—and wow! The boat ride to Seals Island was exhilarating, and the sight of seals basking on the rocks made it feel like we’d stepped into an ecological documentary. The day ended on a truly indulgent note at Groot Constantia, South Africa’s oldest wine estate. The wine tasting was elegant and inviting, set against the backdrop of beautiful vineyards and rich history. Each sip was a celebration of flavor and heritage. Our guide Jean-Marie was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the region. This tour perfectly blended stunning landscapes, delightful creatures, and delicious wines. A must-do experience for anyone visiting Cape Town! Highly recommended.

A memorable Cape Town experience with an exceptional guide

Many thanks, Jean Marie, for your professionalism and expertise. I truly appreciated your insightful suggestions for places to visit in Cape Town that we hadn’t originally planned, such as the Cape Point and Hout Bay. Your knowledge and the fascinating history you shared about Cape Town, the Mother City, made our experience even more memorable. My youngest daughter, Cyndi, is already planning to return with her friends next summer! I would highly recommend you as an excellent and professional tour guide.
