After pick-up from your hotel in Berlin, you will drive for about 2 hours on the Autobahn before you'll enter Dresden. This astonishing mosaic concists of more than 20.000 porcelain tiles from Meissen. With a length of 102 metres (335 ft), it is known as the largest porcelain artwork in the world. The mural displays the ancestral portraits of the 35 margraves, electors, dukes and kings of the House of Wettin between 1127 and 1904.

After enjoying Dresden you will visit Meissen which is only 25 km away. Meissen is home of the famous Meissen porcelain as wekk as the Albrechtsburg and the Gothic Meissen Cathedral.
