Itinerary

15 min

The fantastic view from Signal Hill is ideal for a first introduction to the history of Cape Town.

10 min

We continue to the 12 Apostles, a nice series of 12 mountain peaks that form the background for the exclusive beach town of Camps Bay. Here the rich and beautiful reside in sinfully expensive villas with sea views.

Admission included30 min

The spectacular panoramic road "Chapman´s Peak Drive" was carved into the mountain in seven years of work and enables fantastic views.

5 min

From Chapman's Peak Drive we have a fantastic view of the white, gently sloping beach of Noordhoek. If desired, we can stop here for a photo.

Admission not included80 min

We reach Cape Point National Park late in the morning. In addition to baboons and bouquets, animal residents are springboks and eland. The park also offers an insight into the uniqueness of the Fynbos landscape.

40 min

To the lighthouse, the symbol of the Cape Point, there is a quaint cable railway, which is called the "Flying Dutchman". Alternatively, a 20-minute hiking trail leads up. When the weather is good, you can have a picnic on a secluded beach in the national park at lunchtime. A bistro serves sandwiches to take away. There is also an excellent restaurant next to the cable car, which spoils guests with local specialties - the seafood platter with fresh lobster is a constant hit.

10 min

A photo in front of the famous sign, which shows the most south-western tip of Africa, is an integral part of the tour.

Admission not included30 min

We leave the park and head for the African penguins at Boulders Beach. The cute animals often behave clumsily on land, but are master swimmers and great entertainers.

5 min

On the way back are the colorful beach houses of St. James, which are also worth a photo.

10 min

If there is still time, we stop by the seals in the port of Kalk Bay and enjoy fishing boats and the port atmosphere.
