Meiji Jingu Shrine is one of Tokyo's most iconic and significant Shinto shrines, located in Harajuku. We'll walk together to the main building of Meiji Jingu Shrine while learning about the culture and history. We'll also learn about some Japanese traditional rituals.
Following the Meiji Jingu Shrine we will head to Harajuku, taking the famous & colorful Takeshita Street. Takeshita Street is a bustling and iconic shopping street located in the Harajuku district of Tokyo and tons of shopping & food opportunities. (Find rainbow cotton candy or poo ice cream)
Continuing to Harajuku's Street-Style Wonderland: Dive into the vibrant and eclectic fashion scene of Harajuku, where every street is a runway. Immerse yourself in the kaleidoscope of colors, styles, and youthful energy that defines Tokyo's trendsetting district. We'll head to the Tokyu Plaza to get some amazing pictures! Next will be Shibuya passing by the trendy and fashionable Cat Street.
Shibuya Crossing Spectacle: Experience the pulsating heart of Tokyo at the famous Shibuya Crossing. Join the rhythm of the crowd as you navigate the world's busiest intersection and witness the city's vibrant urban energy. Before we face the busy and biggest crossing in the world we make a brief stop in the new Miyashita Park. We may grab a coffee or enjoy the atmosphere of the rooftop!

With its iconic Senso-ji Temple, rickshaws, traditional snack stalls, and Edo-period atmosphere, this district offers a vivid glimpse into the city’s historical soul. But don’t be fooled, beyond the old-world charm lies a lively, modern neighborhood with great street food, river views, and fun local experiences.
(Part of the 7 Hours Tour) Located in northeastern Tokyo, Ueno Park is one of the city’s most beloved green spaces, known for its rich cultural offerings and seasonal beauty. Originally part of Kaneiji Temple, the park became public land in 1873 and now features wide paths, museums, and over 1,000 cherry trees! Surrounding Ueno Station, you'll find lively shopping streets like Ameya-Yokocho, offering local snacks, souvenirs, and fashion. The neighborhood blends history and everyday life, making it perfect for a relaxed day of exploring.
(Part of the 7 Hours Tour) What started as a post-war black market for radio parts has grown into one of the most vibrant and unique neighborhoods in Tokyo. Akihabara is a playground for tech lovers and pop culture fans, where you’ll find everything from the latest electronics to underground anime merchandise.

My husband and I came to Tokyo for the first time. So we decided to go on a private guided tour for the start of our trip. We chose this tour to get a decent overview of Tokyo and its habits. Wonderfully comprehensive tour with tons of valuable info. Jero is one of the best tour guides i've ever had (and i've had many!) We were able to see so much during our time with him. He took pictures and videos along the way and then air dropped them to my phone. We have already scheduled a second tour and are looking forward to it!

Booking this tour was the best decision of our trip to Japan. We couldn't have had a better start. Jero picked us up at the hotel and his open, warm and sympathetic nature immediately took us for him. With an enthusiastic “There’s so much to do here!” he led us confidently and thrillingly into the middle of this overwhelming city. It's incredible what you can see and experience in four hours. Thanks to Jero, we sent wishes on our way to the Meiji Shrine, enjoyed cotton candy and ramen, swung katana, chatted about life in Tokyo over coffee on rooftop terraces, admired cozy neighborhoods and modern high-rises, wandered through yokochas (lanes full of izakayas), browsed department stores, got wonderful photo memories (Jero takes great photos), to name a few. Besides, we would never have discovered many insider tips, such as viewpoints of the Shibuya crossing, without him. Jero is by far the greatest guide we have ever experienced. Immerse yourself in the many facets of Tokyo at his side is a gift. It is not only his almost inexhaustible knowledge of the culture, history, places and people and his passionate enthusiasm for his city and Japanese culture, but above all his authentic, warm and so incredibly attentive way of giving his guests the feeling of having a good friend by his side.
