I enjoyed my time with Jackson. He's a knowledgeable and competent tour guide and also very pleasant company. He also runs a bycicle hire right by the Fisherman's Camp campsite. I hired a good bicycle a couple of times to cycle through Hell's Gate national park and to Crater Lake and back. Jackson was also very helpful with tips about other activities and helped me a lot to find my way round. Highly recommended

As an avid traveller my family and I had high expectations of any Safari tour operator. I can tell you that I was not disappointed in the least with Kichaka tours. To begin with I would like to commend Geophery for his expert planning. He was able to redo my itinerary multiple times ahead of our trip. He not only quickly amended things here and there but he also advised on what works and what wouldn’t. He was truly open, honest and gave us sound planning advice which helped us with everything we dreamt of doing and what we wanted to see and do. He is very professional and I cannot commend him enough. On arrival to Nairobi, he met my family and I with a huge smile and introduced us to Tim our guide who would be our guide in the field and take care of us throughout the entire trip. Tim was exceptionally knowledgeable thanks to his expertise we managed to see all the big 5 with ease multiple times!! Tim was gentle kind and was always at hand to facilitate all our needs. He is great! Overall, the safari provided by Kichaka tours very much exceeded all my expectations. It was a perfect. My family and I would like to extend our deepfelt thanks to Geophery, Tim and Stephen. You have given us once in a lifetime memory that was facilitated by you without any issues. We would highly recommend anyone out there to not think twice. Kichaka Tours are amazing!

We had an absolutely super tour experience with Kichaka in Kenya! Geoffrey is a superstar and went above and beyond to make our trip memorable inspite of some initial hiccups. He was so so patient with all our questions, queries, and was able to suggest many options to suit our preferences and requirements. He specifically even helped us make last minute changes to the itinerary due to personal circumstances which was appreciated. The next shoutout is for Douglas our guide and driver! What a guy! He was so passionate about the game drives and so enthusiastic about ensuring that we get to see the best and made every effort to make our trip easy, comfortable and most importantly safe given the long road distances and conditions between different sites through our trip. My husband and I had the most amazing safari holiday for our honeymoon organized by Kichaka Tours! I selected Kichaka Tours over some larger tour operators based on their stellar ratings, excellent communication, and detail involving the suggested route/accommodations. Stephen from Kichaka was very responsive and helped us work out an itinerary that made sense for us. He was very helpful with every step of the process leading up to the trip and even helped us secure a camera lens rental in Nairobi. Charles was then our driver and guide for our 7 day private safari and he was wonderful! We could tell he was a true animal lover who was very well-versed in animal behaviour. Whenever we mentioned our desire to see certain animals, he would make it that day's mission to find it for us - whether it was leopards, rhinos, or lion cubs, he worked his magic to find the right areas/conditions for us to spot them. We adored every park we went to, and the accommodations Kichaka booked for us were perfect! Our safari included 2 nights in Amboseli, 1 night on Lake Naivasha and 3 nights at Maasai Mara. I highly recommend the Serena hotels (both in Amboseli and Maasai Mara) that Kichaka partners with, we loved both of them. Staying at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge was also a great choice because its located in the Mara Triangle Conservancy, which is less crowded than the main Maasai Mara Reserve and felt more remote. I could not recommend Kichaka Tours more for your Kenyan safari, it was the best trip and we wish we could relive it!

I had an amazing time on an 8-day private tour, and I highly recommend this tour company. This was our first time visiting Kenya, and We were initially a bit anxious.  However, the team provided excellent suggestions for the best hotels and tours, ensuring we were safe and able to enjoy our trip to the fullest. The staff at Kichaka Tours were incredibly friendly.  In particular, Geophrey who worked closely with me to plan the trip. Also Timan and Jonathan, who guided us on our safari, were extremely knowledgeable and experienced.  Thanks to them, we were able to see all the animals we had hoped to encounter. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the entire trip.  If I were to suggest for an improvement, it would be the guidance regarding souvenir shops.  On our way to the safari, our guide took us to a souvenir shop, but the price was rip off.. Having have to negotiate the price is pain and even after they reduced the price to one third of their initial price, same gifts were sold cheaper at the hotel and at the Village Market. Maybe if the guide was with us while shopping, they gave us fair price. That being said, it was an unforgettable trip, and I will definitely use this company again for future safaris and definately recommend my friends & family.

From the moment we met our guides Charles and Timan, we knew we were in great hands. We had the best experience of our lives. Wilson and Geophrey attended to every single need in the planning stage and were extremely personalised and attentive. Once we arrived in Kenya, we were blown away. Service was impeccable, guides were attentive, flexible and very inclusive. They educated us on all wildlife and Kenyan history. We celebrated NYE together and loved every second of our experiences. Managed to see 4 of the top 5. By far, Royal Mara Lodge in Nth Conservancy was our favourite place to stay. When we come back there is no other tour company we will use. Kichaka is simply the best.

7 day tour completed with Kichaka and the amazing guide Victor. Tour surpassed all of our expectations. From planning with Wilson who was patient and happy to adjust until we had the perfect trip to Victor our guide who is kind, knowledgeable and a really experienced guide never allowing an opportunity to see just one more animal pass us by. Our tour covered big distances but 3 different contrasting areas of Kenya and having seen the big five plus a cheetah kill and a lion stalking a warthog we could not have been more thrilled with the trip. Highly recommended and would use Kichaka as a safe pair of hands on safari.

We had a 7 day six nights amazing trip. From booking and liaising with Wilson to meeting up at the airport for pick up was hassle free. Our driver/guide Charles has 15 yrs wealth of experience that made our trip smooth and memorable. He was patient to our reasonable requests and well versed about the animals and their behaviours. The lodges and food were perfect. Highly recommended company. You’ll never go wrong with them!!! The weather in June was just nice! 😊
