Once you have confirmed your pick-up and time, the tour will start with a convenient pick-up directly from your hotel in Naples, the port, the central station or any point of interest in the city. The early departure of this tour of about 8 hours will allow you to be among the first to enter Pompeii, enjoy a relaxing lunch and then continue to visit Vesuvius. You will meet your guide directly in the minibus, where he will provide you with further details about the tour and the planned activities. On the way to the excavations, you will also have the opportunity to admire some of the most beautiful views of Naples. After a short journey of about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Priority Entrance.

After a visit to Pompeii and a convenient stop to taste our fantastic Neapolitan pizza, we head to Vesuvius, the volcano among the most studied and dangerous in the world, due to the high population density in the surrounding areas and its explosive characteristics. Our excursion includes a short walk to the crater of the volcano. The Mount Vesuvius National Park is recognized as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO and includes the caldera of Mount Somma and the Great Cone of Vesuvius, a sort of mountain within another mountain. The vegetation regrown above the lava is fascinating and has developed over the different eras. The surrounding agricultural areas are renowned for producing fruit, wine and flowers. Vesuvius is infamous for its eruptions, that of 79 AD.C., which was the deadliest in recent history and that of 1944, during World War II; today the volcano is considered active.
