Amazing experience!

An amazing day exploring the Sancerre wines of Loire valley with Brice. Not only is he knowledgeable, his passion for wine and winemaking, and his pride for the incredible culture of the region is evident when you spend time with Brice. In addition to conversations about wine, Brice was just generally a lovely person to spend the day with, and we learned so much about French culture, cuisine, etc. Would highly recommend a tour with him and we will be back to explore a different region with him

Incredible Sancerre Wine Tour

We had an absolutely first class experience with Paris Wine Tours and Brice! This was a highlight of our trip. Everything was thoughtfully planned and curated to ensure a comfortable, educational and enjoyable experience. It's clear Brice focuses on attention to detail to provide experiences that are not only fun but thoughtful - there is an emphasis on the relationships developed with the different wine makers and purveyors visited. It felt very special to be allowed to see so much of the behind the scenes wine and cheese making, as well as being generously welcomed into these spaces for sampling. Thank you, Brice for the lovely and hospitable experience! I hope to return one day! I highly reocmmend!

Not Simply a Tour - A Full Experience!

Our Sancerre area tour with Brice was much more than just a wine tour. Our day in the Loire Valley was a full day experience. Brice is a fantastic host. Every detail has been carefully curated. We were able to visit an artisan goat cheese maker (and meet the goats!), see two different wine producers, spending time with the wine growers and learn about their unique methods. Tastings at both were lead by the wine growers themselves. This was a real treat because discussing the wines with the people that make them is more than a typical US wine tasting presentation. Each were unique and memorable. Between tastings we visited the charming village of Sancerre. Lunch in Sancerre was enjoyable. We were able to chat with Brice and the other tour guests. It was a nice visit, chatting with people from other parts of the world. We were also able to visit the Sancerre museum. It is well presented and offers some excellent views of the Loire River valley. This tour does emphasize the spectacular wines of the area but if aren't experienced with wine but simply like to drink it, the tour offers something interesting. You don't need to be an expert. The scenery alone is terrific! We highly recommend this tour. Brice helped make a wonderful memory. He has earned the rave reviews! We look forward to another opportunity to use Paris Wine Day Tours!

Brice was an amazing host. He had lots of knowledge and humor. Not only was it great getting a day in the countryside, but learning about the deep history and tasting the wines was an incredible experience. Mi highly recommend this for a great introduction to it just wine but also France!

Sun, wine, and beauty.

My wife and I were looking for a French wine experience, Brice delivered an amazing day. We went to a small producer of goat cheese specific to the region. We were able to take a small tour and sample several varieties of goat cheese. The tour also got to visit the goats that make the cheese. The first winery was in a beautiful area surrounded by vineyards, Brice gave us a tour of the production facility explaining the different steps necessary for producing great wine. We got to sample six white wines that the region is know for. Next was a three coarse lunch overlooking the beautiful countryside. The second winery was only 10 minutes away. We got a tour from one of the winemakers, his passion was evident. We got to sample six more wines ranging from whites, a rose, a red, and a very small batch sparkling wine. The entire experience was memorable. We would definitely book again when we find ourselves back in Paris.

A wonderful day out of Paris!

This tour was a delight. We had a small group and instantly connected. Brice was a great guide. He is very knowledgeable and helped us appreciate the beauty of the region. The selection of the wineries, the fromager and the restaurant we had lunch in was superb. It was truly a memorable day, even if the many wines we tasted diluted the memories a bit! It is a day well spent. Can only recommend this tour.

Best wine tour!

We had the best time on this tour!! We were a group of 7 girls and this trip was one of our favorites. Brice was very accommodating and the best guide for our day. On the way to the first stop, Brice got us breakfast and coffee and went through the layout of the day with us. We made our first stop at a family owned goat farm and got to try a bunch of great cheeses (that he also brought some to pair with our wine later on) then we made our way to the first winery and it was incredible! Brice is very knowledgeable and had great connections with many people all over! We got a full course lunch after at the cutest restaurant then got some free time to walk around the town and shop. We stopped at one more winery on the way home that was perfect too. And ended our day driving back to Paris (the van was also very clean and lots of room for us) this was a great experience for us and we had so much fun! And felt very safe on this tour! Would highly recommend.

Best day ever

This was the very best tour we have ever been on with a guide. Brice was so gracious and accommodating to all our needs. He shared his deep and personal knowledge of wine, the region, and the country with us. He took us to small family estate winemakers and a goat cheese farm where there were no other visitors. The day was the highlight of our trip to France!

Amazing tour, highlight of my trip

The tour to Sancerre was so much fun. Brice is a wonderful, knowledgeable guide and each stop on the tour was interesting and informative. Lunch was in a small town at a family-owned restaurant/hotel. The food was incredible and the service was phenomenal. Brice cultivates and maintains relationships with boutique wineries who produce exquisite wines that fully represent their area of France. My original tour booked with Brice did not work out but he worked with me diligently to find an alternative tour that would work with my travel schedule. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Paris.

A must for all Sancerre lovers!

If you love Sancerre wine this tour is a must! This “vine to glass” journey was led by our guide Brice, whose love for the region and the wine made the entire trip an outstanding experience. No need to have breakfast before getting on the van, because about an hour after leaving Paris, we made a stop for coffee & delicious croissants. The next stop was ferme du Port Aubry, a small farm making the most incredible goat cheese, Crottin de Chavignol. Our only mistake was that we didn’t purchase more cheese when we were there! Throughout the day Brice shared his extensive knowledge of the regions wine, landscape, and French countryside. The tour includes stops at two historic family owned wineries; in Pouilly-Fume Pouilly sur Loire, Domaine Guy Baudin & Fils and in Sancerre, Domaine Arnaud et Stephanie Dezat. Brice’s personal connections with the owners made for a truly unique experience. We were able to see the entire range of production. Stopping in the vineyards to learn about the unique soil, then seeing the aging casks, right up to the bottling and label machine line. It was fascinating! Both wineries had high-quality wines, and we were thrilled to hear Brice would take care of sending any wine we ordered back home. The tour also included a stop in the quaint town of Sancerre. We had lunch at a local restaurant serving a hearty meal with delicious wine. And we had time to visit the small shops and the Sancerre museum where we learned even more about wine making in the region. This small group tour (only 5 in our group) offered deep insights into the region and wine making history. But of course, the best part of the trip was the wine tasting! All in all the most perfect day and absolutely worth every bit of the price.
