As of April 15, 2019: The world known saddening event that occured at Notre-Dame may impact a bit this part of the tour. We'll still be able to see Notre-Dame from a distance and I hope that we'll have access around it in the near future. Until then and until we'll be able to fully visit this gem again (she'll be back like a phoenix), we wish our divine Notre-Dame a prompt recovery. Warm hugs to Our Lady!

Paris without the eiffel tower? It is impossible since 1889 ! Although we will not go on the Eiffel tower, we will learn about this iconic Iron Maid. Remember! This tour is a thorough overview and a great opportunity to see and know more about Paris, in general. The beautiful Eiffel tower is only one gem among others :-)
Nowadays a museum, it was for centuries the Royal house of major French monarchs. Although we will stay outside, we will learn about this major highlight.

10 out of 5 stars! Milan's communication, figuring out what all he & I could do, the sights we saw, they all were amazing! Milan is kind, thoughful, good company, knows his facts, takes you to the best places! Milan picked me up at my hotel at 9 a.m. and dropped me off at 8:30 p.m. We saw the Tuileries, Notre Dame (outside only), Love Locks bridge, outside Musee D'Orsay, L'Obelisk, L'Arc de Triomphe, Medici Fountain, Luxembourg Gardens, Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the iconic Emily in Paris restaurant (that he surprised me with), lunch, then Montmartre, Sacre Coeur, that sculpture of the man coming thru the wall, Love Wall, Le Procope, many famous French artists and American Revolutionary statues and plaques. We took taxis, walked a ton, and rode the metro (felt so safe). We did the sunset view at the top of Galeries Lafayette, dinner nearby, a quick dash into the Palais Garnier because it had a show, a quick peek at Harry's New York Bar, Place de la Concorde, and back to the hotel. If you can find me on FB as Meredith Davis, I have about 6 different posts showing all that Milan & I did together. (I'll come back and add some pix; wanted to get this out there.)
We took the Paris in a Day trip with Milan and it was perfect. He is very knowledgeable of the history of each site that we visited. He is a genuine person and fantastic guide. He even broke up a scam taking place at one of the sites. We had a very enjoyable time with Milan. He is very easy-going. We would highly recommend his services.
Thank you so much, the DD’s (deedees) for your lovely review and recommendation! It was a real pleasure spending the day exploring Paris with you. I'm glad you enjoyed learning about the history behind each site we visited. By the way! Thank you for telling me all about this big arched building. How do we call it again? Ah oui! Arc de Triomphe!!! Merci Drew ;-) Your easy-going nature made the day flow so naturally. It's always wonderful when a tour feels less like a script and more like friends discovering the city together. Thank you again for choosing to spend your Paris in a day with me! With warmest regards, Milan
My wife and I private toured with Milan for the day in Paris. He was a great guide. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and eager to make the day into whatever we wanted. We had seen some of the stops he had planned so he suggested some alternatives or let us pick something of interest to us. We suggested the cemetery where Jim Morrison was buried (Père Lachaise cemetery). Milan runs a separate tour of the cemetery so he was super knowledgeable about the property and had lots of interesting stories to tell us. The tour was great fun and Milan was super accommodating. Highly recommend. Best part of our trip !
Thank you so much Paul for the wonderful review! I'm thrilled you enjoyed our visit to Père Lachaise – showing our respects and admiration to Jim Morrison (the Doors) and to others. It's always fun to share those stories with curious travelers and enthusiasm made the day memorable for me too. Wishing you both many more adventures ahead!
The description does not do this tour justice. Milan (our guide) was absolutely incredible. We really were able to see so many different parts of the city and learn about its history and culture through a perfect mix of taxis, Metro, and walking. Milan was well informed, enthusiastic, and a joy to spend the day with. When the day was over you feel disappointed that your time with him is done. We are so grateful for this experience.
Wow, thank you for such an incredibly generous review! Knowing that you felt disappointed when our day together ended is one of the most wonderful compliments I could receive. Thank you for your fantastic company and for taking the time to share this beautiful feedback. It was truly my pleasure spending the day with you all! With gratitude, Milan.
Milan was top notch all around. He was well informed, had a folder with pictures handy when describing details and even an iPad for videos. We chose the addition of the van option which made it great. Highly recommend.
Don't say no more! I'm blushing now. Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It truly means a lot to hear that you appreciated the thoroughness of our tour experience. I'm delighted that you found my visual materials helpful - I believe that having those pictures and videos on hand really brings the history and stories to life in a way that words alone sometimes can't. There's nothing quite like seeing how a place looked in the past while you're standing right there in the present! I'm especially pleased that you chose the van option and found it worthwhile. The comfort and convenience of having our own transportation really does allow us to cover more ground and discover some hidden gems that might be harder to reach on foot. Plus, it gives us more time to chat and dive deeper into the stories behind each location. Your recommendation means the world to me, and I'm so grateful you took the time to share your experience. It was truly my pleasure guiding you around Paris! Warm regards, Milan
We had a wonderful experience exploring Paris! Milan took us to many famous sites and also included many surprises along the way! We were treated to beautiful sites of Paris, lovely neighborhoods, food markets, art attractions, and many historical stories along the way. Lunch was a treat as we visited a beautiful park and enjoyed delicious food. Milan showed us many surprises along the way we would never have found on our own. Our driver was able to maneuver the traffic and we never experienced a problem with our next stop along the way. I would highly recommend this tour when visiting Paris! We loved it! Thank you from your Kansas friends!
We did the Paris in a Day and the French/American revolution tours with Milan. This is the second time we have toured Paris with Milan. He is an excellent guide and so accommodating. We will tour with him again the next time we are in Paris. I highly recommend using Milan the next time you are looking for a tour guide in Paris. You will not be disappointed!
I want to start off with the fact this review can not express the sincere appreciation and gratitude my wife and I had for Milan and this trip. This is truly a custom tour based on what you want to see. In addition, Milan has so many little things to show you that typical tour guides would miss. The day started with Milan meeting us at our apartment. He showed up with a welcome gift of champagne. Class act… our tour started with visiting the Paris Start city square and a comprehensive history lesson. Milan then took us to the Princess Dianna memorial where her accident took place. Next we went to Invalides veterans memorial, church and Napoleon’s resting place. Next we went to Luxembourg gardens and senate house. Next went to Pantheon. Then went to eat lunch at restaurant where they film “Emily in Paris”. Next went to Saint Genevieve Church. Then went to the Paris colosseum “Arènes de Lutèce”. We then went to Notre Dame Cathedral. We wrapped up stopping at Galeries Lafayette to view “stairways to heavens” and terrace deck. Milan gave us the full experience in Paris walking, taxi, metro train and city bus to hit all these spots. All transportation covered by Milan.
This is the best tour of Paris with Milan, our expert tour guide. We saw so much in one day... all the must sees in Paris plus the extra fun spots. The tour was so much fun, we didn't want it to end.
We had the best time with Milan! He hit all the spots we hoped to see and more in a day! We enjoyed his company and he had so many interesting tidbits of information that the day just flew by! We walked, taxied and shuttled all over town. What a great time we had. I would totally recommend Milan and this tour for a wonderful experience to remember in Paris. Thanks Milan!
