Take a virtual tour of the great Ancient Roman Domus, just underground Palazzo Valentini. Enjoy a multimedia experience with virtual reconstructions, lights, graphics and videos. Immerse in the Roman Imperial Age history and listen the Piero Angela's narration. Observe how the area of Trajan's Column looked at the time. A virtual reconstruction of the column gives you a close up look at the bas-reliefs and the story they tell of Trajan’s military campaign: the conquest of Dacia, present day Romania. A unique and magnificent example of how the artistic heritage of antiquity, regenerated by careful restoration, can be enhanced with the use of new technologies.

The combination of audio guide and audiovisual effects worked really well. I liked the way you could see the ruins, carefully lit, from above through a glass floor. The story of the excavation is very interesting and the re-creation of the rooms of the Roman villa through AV effects really brought it to life. Beautiful mosaics exist in good condition and are lovely. A really worthwhile and fascinating tour.
This experience really shows what ancient Roman buildings would have looked like on the inside. Highly recommend.

This really is an amazing place to visit. The whole tour is incredible. They have discovered 2 Roman houses underground and have used multimedia to bring the archaeological remains to life. I have not seen anything like this before and really is worth a visit. The tour uses an audio guide with very comfortable headphones and a guide who positions you at each point so you can experience everything they have to offer. All of the remains are covered by a glass floor and they use lights, graphics and projections to bring everything to life. There are Roman baths, staircases, roads, beautiful mosaic floors amongst other things. A must see!
