It is played in teams, consisting of a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 6, who must be able to decipher and solve the hidden clues along the urban path! To experience this adventure, you don't need an app, but acute eyesight, trained hearing and all the other senses.

We were looking forward to this, but we're left disappointed. The idea itself is great. Most clues are mostly well explained, although some aren't very clear. The problem was so many stages were not doable. One had been vandalised so wasn't there any more. This was explained in a message when we started the game, and the operator can't do anything about that to be fair to them. But for some other clues, whole roads were closed so you couldn't get down them, this was a rather large section, so we couldn't do it. Had to use the help section to get answers instead. Then further on more building work meant you couldn't follow the directions to get to the river. The whole set of steps was closed off. These look like long term building works too, so it really shouldn't be being sold while these are in place. We had to abandon it there, after 2 and half hours. We'd just had enough.
We can only excuse for the inconvenience . We had some problem with maintenance in the last days and we should absolutely recover . Apologize
We booked the Open Air Escape Game in Villa Borghese in Rome. The description stated that the game would take around 2.5 hours, but after that amount of time we had not even completed half of it. The beginning was very enjoyable and promising. However, the experience quickly became frustrating. We spent more than 30 minutes waiting in line for a boat, which significantly interrupted the flow of the game. Several puzzles were not really playable due to issues on site. The biggest problem was a missing disc that was required to continue. We spent almost an hour searching for it. Even after receiving a hint and being directed to the supposed location, the disc was not there. This resulted in a lot of wasted time and frustration. In addition, clues for one of the later puzzles were blocked by an event taking place in the park. Temporary stalls and stands completely covered the hints, making the puzzle impossible to solve. Overall, the game showed great potential and started very well, but the lack of preparation and maintenance seriously affected the experience. We left feeling disappointed and unable to complete the adventure as intended.
Hi Magda first of all let my apologize for your negative impression of the game but at the same time allow me to clarify the situations that you have described : - we have an agreement that our customers can use the boats of a little lake in order to find of the clue but of course this is not giving them any privilege to jump the queue with all other customers . To me it sounds logical ..anyway if you do not want to make the queue you have always the option to jump that station and get a suggestion already on the trail document - you are right that a disc that was part of the game has been recently vandalized (working on a public environment this is unfortunately a risk that we should manage) but in real time we have secured that this is information is provided to all customers already at check-in and the way to overcome that issue is provided in the online helpline up to when we will be able to replace it We are taking about 1 station over more than 20 included in your experience Thanks for your understanding and sorry again for the inconvenience

Non abbiamo nessuna idea di chi abbia lasciato questa recensione . Possiamo solo confermare che quanto affermato non corrisponde al vero visto che il gioco oltre le istruzioni prevede un sistema molto accurato di helpline con suggerimenti e soluzioni ed anche un supporto telefonico sempre disponibile in caso di bisogno . Ancora meno sensata la affermazione che non ci siano partecipanti che qualifica da sola la “recensione”
It is scam, don’t believe on what you see
It is really a pity when you meet a customer that is a total shame like this . They didn’t t read or follow any instruction , they made me loose long time to try to explain basic things done from thousand of people but still they do not understand , they anyway picked up the material needed for the game but despite all this they want a full refund . I gave them. 50% refund so again they are also a lying in their review . I knew for sure that they would have done a bad review and I could have solved easily the problem I giving them what they ask but some time we need to stick to what is right and not to what is more convenient and this is one of this time ;-(
It was so much fun. We saw parts of the park we would never have seen on our own. The support clues were key because places where the clues led us to were under renovation. It look us longer than 2 hours- closer to 3+. Toilets (fee- 1.50€) next to the pond. You can pay €5 to add a person to the row boat.
Avoid , no support and complicated to understand . No presence of the organization and light instructions,
I am sorry to say but this is the typical example of a review that does not help anybody since there are no explanation on what has been the problem …the game in itself has been done from around 18000 people so I would not say that the instructions are not clear since they are clear for thousand and thousand of people . It claims that there is no presence of the organizer where nowhere it is claimed that it should be expected anyone from us and by the way it really not needed since we are providing both an online helpline with suggestions and solutions for each single station and a phone helpline in case of real trouble but we have not received any call during this experience . I am sorry but this type of review that are killing our reputation while instead we have no responsibilities are frankly unacceptable
The concept is great however it wasn't clear that there would be no guide on the ground at the meeting point so time was wasted here meaning it was dark in the park before we could complete, we had to abandon. Clearer information warning that the game starts at the meeting point should have been given. Also the paperwork was confusing premium and highlights envelopes so we were unsure which to use
Hi Joanna the instruction for checkin are very simple and clear (it is just to click on a link when arrived at the starting point) and there is no mention anywhere about the need to meeting anyone so i am sorry if you got confused but the confusion is surely not generated from the instruction . In addition we also provide an helpline online that includes the checkin process and a phone number available any time to be called in case of any issue ...Having said that we are sorry if your experience has not been in line with your expectiation .
Unfortunately we could not finish the route, too many in a short time considering, it had rained and it was not possible to ride the boat because the same were full of water and the manager told us we should wait at least an hour, also there was a demonstration of vintage cars and the road on which we had to read the numbers was full of people and parked cars. At Raphael's house, when we arrived there was a religious service in front of the entrance and we did not approach so as not to disturb. Experience certainly fun but not recommended on Sunday if you want to be able to finish the route.
Salve Eleonora ci dispiace della vostra esperienza negativa ma mi sento di dire che dare un valutazione cosi negativa per fattori che francamente non dipendono da noi e dalla organizzazione del gioco ci sembra molto severo : sulla pioggia purtroppo possiamo fare poco e comunque è la prima volta che capita quanto hai descritto da 5 anni che siamo aperti , le manifestazione a villa borghese ci sono spesso e non pregiudicano lo svolgimento del gioco , la casina di raffaelllo prevede una doppia installazione interna ed esterna proprio per prevedere il caso che non sia possibile entrare .... La domenica la villa è certamente molto frequentata ma complessivamente non ci sono mai problemi a completare il gioco ed anzi si vive un atmosfera festosa con mille attività che animano la villa . Avete ritenuto comunque di darci una valutazione cosi severa e ne prendiamo atto ma ci permettiamo di dissentire fermamente . Un saluto
My wife and I attempted this game whilst on a long weekend in Rome recently. The idea behind the game is a nice way to see more of the park, but several elements of the game were not available, not working or required a workaround due to buildings being closed. Buildings being closed for renovation is beyond the operators control, but they need to implement a proper workaround in the meantime. It felt like costs were being kept as low as possible rather than adjusting the game where original options were not available.
Hi Samuel first of all let me apologize if your experience has not been at the level of your expectation . It would be good to know what exactly have been the stations that you have considered not available since we follow obviously on a daily base our trails and we are not aware of any station not available with exception of 1 single station (over 17) that is a public monument under renewal and for which we provide already at check-in the advice to access the helpline when that station is reached exactly to get a workaround . Nothing else result not available to us . Could be that you have had some issue to follow the instructions ? Anyway sorry again
Totally off the tourist trail!!! It is neat to be among the locals and you try to follow the clues. Note-remember you can ask for help - several activities were blocked (construction and impromptu fashion show) but we were still able to finish Wild FOX
