Stop to see the Hanging Church, aka St Virgin Mary Church. Built in the 7th century, this old church takes its name from its location: sited above a gateway in the old Roman fortress. Admire the courtyard and interior with its screens, marble pulpit and icons, and hear about its long history.

Hagar was my guide. She was very knowledgable and I learned many new things about Coptic and Islamic heritage. She can also take some nice pictures of you if you ask.
Hager is an amazing guide. She’s genuinely very knowledgeable and has great story telling abilities (and a good sense of humour too!). She even did the haggling for us at the market. Thank you Hager, we had a great night at the market because of you!
This trip is fulfilling a dream since childhood. when walking between the pyramids, along the halls of the Giza Pyramid, tracing the traces of Islamic civilization on the land of the Prophets, the land of Kinanah. what I have read since childhood is now in front of me directly. Tour guide mrs Lamia and driver are very help full and give information related the history of Egypt.
My flight on the Luxor tour had been cancelled, so I decided to apply for this tour, which was quickly proposed. As a result, I was able to go on the best tour possible. At the Coptic Museum, you will be given time to take a closer look at what interests you. I was able to watch it slowly. And most of all, I will never forget the wonder and emotion of the mosque that Mohammed Ali visited. It is not just the pyramids! There are still places to visit in Egypt! This tour is absolutely recommended. The best guides who are knowledgeable and thoughtful It was great to meet Mohamed ! And thank you, driver Karam, for speaking to me nervous and for driving safely! Ramacid staff who made an effort to set up the event at short notice, Thank you ❗️
Paula our guide picked us up at the hotel lobby. After that we started a perfect tour through the old and historical churches and mosques in Cairo. First we visited the Muhammad Ali Mosque, where we had a nice introduction into the history. Then we continued to the Greek Orthodox and Coptic Church and the Ezra Synagogue in the old town of Cairo. The trip was very interesting and Paula explained a lot, especially how the Churches we founded and how the different religions work together. A different view. We truly recommend this tour to anybody, who's interested learning more about the lively past.
We booked a food tour in Cairo and were so blessed to be guided by the incredible Ayoub and our driver Hussein. The day was amazing, we started by having the most mouth watering Egyptian food, followed by a nice walk and finding more local drinks/sweets and foods. We were so lucky to experience the tour ran by Ayoub, he is a true asset to the company and just an all round amazing person. We are so thankful for both Ayoub and Hussein.
This was the second tour I’d taken with this company, and my guide Michu was excellent again. Friendly and very knowledgable, he was able to answer any questions, and I had lots! The architecture in this part of Cairo is stunning, well-worth seeing. Interesting too to hear about the early origins of three different religions in the city. As I found on my previous tour, being a lone, female traveller was not a problem, and I felt completely safe, almost as if I was wandering around with a friend! Highly recommended!!
