After pick up from Cruise Terminal, Our tour starts with Hippodrome Square where used to take place for chariot races and the Byzantine riots during Roman & Byzantine period.
Only a short walk away, reaches Blue Mosque, has its fame from its beautiful blue Iznik tiles.
We will continue walking to St. Sophia to visit Second floor.
After lunch break ( not included ) we will visit Grand Bazaar where is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with more than 58 covered streets and over 1,200 shops which attract between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily. Opened in 1461, it is well known for its jewelry, pottery, spice, and carpet shops. Drive or walk back to the port or to our hotel. . The end of our services.

- In the event of any museum closures, an alternative similar museum will be visited. On Tuesdays : Topkapi Palace replaced by Underground Cistern, On Sundays: Grand Bazaar will be replaced by Spice Market. Grand Bazaar during Religious Holidays will be replaced by Arasta Bazaar. On Fridays: Blue Mosque is open from 15.00 to 17.30

We recently did a cruise in the Med and I booked an excursion for Instanbul called Istanbul Delight - Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. This was with a well known trip provider who use Curio Travel. I've got to say that our four hour tour was a fantastic tour, good value for money and our Guide, Emel was absolutely superb. If you are lucky enough to get her then you won't be disappointed. Her knowledge, friendliness and enthusiasm were exceptional. Because we were a small group we also had time to visit the Basilica Cistern. This was a specific recommendation that Emel made and was well worthwhile. Our small group all agreed that Istanbul was the highlight of the cruise and a large part of this was down to our wonderful Guide.
