Begin your day with a 5:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Nairobi. Enjoy a scenic drive toward Nanyuki, where Mount Kenya often dominates the horizon. After a brief coffee or washroom stop, arrive at the conservancy and begin your first game drive across its wildlife-rich plains, home to elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffes, and large herds of antelope. Midmorning, visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see rescued chimps, before continuing your drive through the quieter eastern areas in search of rare species like Grevy’s zebras and oryx.
