Olympia was the birthplace of the most famous and important sporting event in the ancient world. The Olympic Games took place here every four years from 776 BC to 393 AD. The site was also a place of worship dedicated to the Greek god Zeus from about the 10th century BC. Here you will find incredible sculptures such as the decoration of the temple of Zeus, as well as the famous Hermes of Praxiteles and the statue of Nike of Paionios.

We ended up being the only customers on what was supposed to be a small group tour and as such we were given the option of making slight changes to suit our interests. Anastasios our guide was an absolutely great bloke and we can't thank him brought for what was a great day. Highly recommend these guys and we will definitely use them again next time we come to Athens.
Incredible experience, 1000% recommend. The best thing we have done in Greece! The guide was amazing, so fun to talk to and accommodating. It was so unique and beautiful and calm. The food was amazing, the bus was super comfortable, the sites were fascinating. The planning was perfect, everything went smoothly like a dream, and we went to amazing local places and ate awesome seafood while relaxing in the gorgeous Aegean Sea.
This tour had given us much more then expected. Eleusine, Epidaurus, Asclepio, Corinth, and then relax on the beach...
