This trip is not what is described. The trip stated that it would go to Chateau de Boursault (or a different local producer) for 3 glass of champagne, then Moet for 2 glasses of champagne with the tour, then lunch in Epernay, then 2 glasses of champagne in Pressoria, then Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautville, then 1 glass of champagne at Pommery, then Cathedral de Reims, then arriving back in Paris around 8pm. The tour also states the tour guide will speak English. Unfortunately, the tour guide barely spoke any English and did not tell us anything about the area or champagne houses. The tour guide prevented us from going to Pommery or cathedral de Reims. We asked if we could still go to Pommery and the cathedral when it became clear the tour guide wanted to go home early, but the tour guide verbally refused and kept driving. We only did 3 glasses of champagne at local producer G. Tribaut a Hautvillers (which was still good), then 2 glasses of champagne at Pressoria, then lunch in Epernay, then 2 glasses at Moet with the tour, then arrived back to Paris by 5pm. I am surprised that a tour that costs so much did not end up matching the description and had a tour guide that wanted to leave early.
Wonderful experience visiting the champagne region incl. Reims and Epernay. Beautiful countryside and vineyards. Good experience in having a variety of wine tasting. Though the experience is met without an english speaking guide which supposed to have as stated, our driver - Vladimir has been welcoming and friendly, bringing around based on the itinerary, ensuring our well being are taken care. It has been a good day trip out of Paris. We enjoyed it.
Our Driver was very nice. He did a good job and new the routes well. Overall, it was a successful trip
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to several small Champagne Houses for private tastings (where we had the opportunity to buy a special bottle at each) and Moët & Chandon for a tour of the caves and a tasting at the end. Last we visited an interactive Museum about Champagne. Our guide, Cyrus, was personable and educational. We would highly recommend this trip.
