It was such a pleasurable experience partaking in this food tour in the heart of Marseille’s historic neighborhoods. Sophie is a talented communicator, weaving together the charm of this community and its history. We loved how the time didn’t feel rushed as we meandered and savored every space. We loved it and will definitely be back.
Sophie is a wonderful ambassador for the culture and culinary world of Marseille. The food was delicious. We learned a lot! The experience was as advertised and highly recommended!
Great variety of food and a great tour guide. A few hills to climb but nothing too difficult. All the restaurants and shops were friendly and the food was delicious.
Our host, Laura, was very friendly and full of useful information. The food was very tasty and if great quality. Really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it.
The guide was very friendly, passionate about his job and Marseille. He went out of his way to ensure we experienced the city, not just the amazing food.
Best food tour. Sophie was so great. She gave us some history, interesting facts about Marseilles and we ate tons of great food.
Laura was spectacular! She gave amazing historical details to the area, stories about her travels and passions, and amazing tips and tricks for our overall trip. I would highly recommend the food tour as I was pleasantly surprised by the number of dishes and food we got to have. Such a fantastic way to get to know the city :)
Great experience, fun way to explore the city and old port area!
John took us for a great food tour. Food and drinks were very good, as we experienced some of the local eats and drinks.
We met our guide Inga, a very sweet, kind and considerate person. She led us to different cafes and bistros across town, each offering their own individual local taste. She was clearly understood, and gave us heads up of what to expect right before every venue. My most favorite one was the last stop, where we tasted one of the most delicious mussels I've ever tried. We got to meet a great group of people who we got to know and helped us enjoy the time together. I just wished our guide had a bit more to offer, as far as culture, historical facts, extra knowledge on our surroundings, etc. If so, it would have been fabulous! But overall, I would still recommend my friends to book this tour.
