Brahim was an incredible food tour guide. He gave us a history lesson, travel tips and importantly led us to great food places. Each place he had us visit seamlessly flowed into the next. Brahim was incredibly friendly and personable which led to a great overall experience. He had us try the street food at first. He adapted to our love of coffee and brought us to a special place where they heat sand to make the coffee. We ended in a restaurant that Gordon Ramsay and Queen Elizabeth II once visited (we saw their pictures on the wall in that very restaurant!!). The food there was great! Unfortunately we got food positioning, so we can not recommend. When this was highlighted we were told it was nothing to do with them or their tour, however we purposely don’t eat anything before the tour because we knew there would be a lot of food. The guide was great and we did have a good time, but we lost 50% of our holiday stuck in our hotel room.

We work very closely with our food vendors and carefully select each stop to ensure quality and safety. Since January, we have hosted over 1,500 guests on this experience, and this is the first time we’ve received such feedback. On your specific tour, there were 7 participants in total, and we followed up — no other guests reported any similar issue. Of course, we completely understand how unpleasant this must have been, and we truly hope you are feeling much better now. It’s sometimes difficult to pinpoint the exact cause, as it could be something that didn’t sit well individually and not necessarily related to the tour itself. What a fun introduction to Marrakech! We've always loved Moroccan food, so we knew that our first night in the Red City, we would want to go with a guide to get some authentic eats. We were met by Khalid outside of Maroc Poste, thanks to easy directions delivered via WhatsApp. Khalid showed us about 10 super authentic foods—lamb tagine with 3-month preserved lemon, harissa-spiced olives, vegetable couscous, these wild sandwiches filled to the brim with spicy sausage, and more. And when a monstrous thunderstorm with HAIL came in, he dashed us into a rooftop bar (with covering) for a final course of juices and pastries. All in all, definitely an adventure with that weather! Oh, and the groups are SMALL—some food tours we saw were upwards of 20 people. This company keeps it small at a max of 8... we had 4 people in our group which was awesome! I will say, if you're looking for more adventurous eats (like sardine sandwiches, or sheeps brain), I would note it in your reservation, so they can customize it to your tastes.

We did a private tour with Ibrahim and had an amazing time.. It was great to get to experience the square with a local who knew the right places to eat at, We ate at one food stall in the souk that we had passed by and would never think to eat at. The food was amazing. Ibrahim was happy to make any extra stops we requested such as going to the date market so I could buy dates to take home already packaged. We tried snails in so many spices that they taste nothing like escargot. Had a winter time yea with 25 spices in it that make our tongues numb but tasted great. The best part was the avocado and orange juice smoothie. I don't even like avocado. Much care was taken to make sure everything was safe to eat for a member of our group with food allergies. There was so much food that we took the dessert pastries back to our hotel with us to eat later, We had an amazing time and Moroccan Food Tour is an amazing company and I highly recommend them.

We had the best evening exploring the amazing Marrakech and its unique culinary tastes. Radouan are guide was brilliant, he explained the food and life in Marrakesh in a very enthusiastic, precise and informative way. He was very friendly and guided us to amazing local spots, we would not have visited otherwise. I cannot recommend this tour enough….just book it!

We have done food tours in various countries and continents and this was the most disappointing. We were done in 2 hours after having been fed an assortment of pastries and breads before being asked if we wanted anything else. Like what? Well, a tajine or something... in fact by then we were so full we couldn't eat another bite. Luckily we have since managed to eat many lovely dishes by visiting restaurants and food stalls independently.

According to his report, you enjoyed around seven tasting stops ranging from sweet to savory — msemmen, harira, donuts with tea, fresh juice, potato sandwich, and more. At the end, he offered to continue to a main dinner stop, but you preferred to skip it as everyone was already full. The food tour of Marrakech was a great experience. I liked the fact that we went to places that are really visited by locals and sat at the same table with them. We also tasted food that we didn’t even know, apart from well-known dishes like couscous or tajin. Our guide was also very friendly and helpful.
My fiancé and I did this Moroccan food tour in March, and it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip. From the moment it began, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable—not just about the food, but about the culture and history behind every dish we tasted. We explored local markets, tried fresh olives, dates, traditional Moroccan pastries, and of course, enjoyed a delicious tagine meal. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to dive deeper into Moroccan culture through its incredible food.
