Great photo opportunity - but don't bring a real camera (see review)
I felt safe the entire time, and it did seem like a professional outfit was running the balloons. It was nice to see some of the sites from up high. I am a photographer and got some nice shots. However, they will not let you take a "professional camera" on the balloon. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time - so please be aware. I went back the following day to catch some pictures of the balloons flying over the temple of Ramesses II.
