I usually avoid big museums because I end up tired, lost and remembering almost nothing afterwards. The Louvre was exactly what I was afraid of — until this tour. Our guide didn’t just show paintings, she built a story. We moved through the museum with a clear logic, sometimes passing crowded rooms on purpose to reach quiet spaces I would never have entered alone. The Mona Lisa was actually the least interesting moment; the real highlight was understanding how the artworks connect to power, politics and daily life of the past. I left after three hours not exhausted but curious, and for the first time I felt I had experienced the Louvre instead of just walking through it. I would never visit it again without a guide like this.
