The Vittoriano or Altare della Patria ("the wedding cake") was built and designed by Giuseppe Sacconi in 1885
Trevi Fountain, the clear Baroque style is the work of Nicola Salvi. The artist was responsible for the construction of the fountain in the eighteenth century after winning a competition organised by Pope Clement XII.
