Kuranda Koala Gardens is a part of the The North Queensland Wildlife Trust, established in 2004 by the Freeman Family developed to find a mechanism for visitors to make an active contribution to conservation through aiding in the rehabilitation of sick and injured wildlife and the restoration of significant wildlife habitats within the local area.
