Khasab Musandam Day Cruise with Buffet Lunch

Description
Khasab serves as the city and local administrative center for the Musandam Governorate, an Omani exclave situated on the Musandam Peninsula's tip, bordering the United Arab Emirates along the Strait of Hormuz. Often referred to as the "Norway of Arabia," this region boasts extensive, fjord-like inlets and rugged mountain landscapes. Immerse yourself in the ancient scenery of Musandam Khasab in Oman. During a full-day dhow cruise to Khor Sham aboard our traditionally decorated Omani wooden dhows, you'll traverse azure waters through a majestic fjord (Khor), surrounded by breathtaking mountains and tranquil, remote white sand beaches. At the fjord's entrance, you'll have the opportunity to watch dolphins. The dhow will anchor at Telegraph Island and Seebi Island, allowing guests to indulge in swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters teeming with friendly, colorful fish. Onboard, we provide soft drinks, fresh fruits, coffee/tea, and a buffet lunch.

It was the worse trip in my life, We were 4 ladies - disrespectful driver -overloaded unsafe boat -no alternative for the boat -no drive back home
Dear Nancy Ayad, We have carefully reviewed the circumstances surrounding your recent journey with us and wish to address the concerns you have raised. Upon thorough investigation, the following points have been identified: It has come to our attention that there were requests made during the journey, such as stopping for breakfast, which were not feasible due to our adherence to a strict timetable. Despite clear communication from our driver regarding the constraints of our schedule, there were disruptions caused by demands and attitudes that led to delays at the border. Complaints regarding the driver's conduct were received, including instances of verbal aggression towards our customer support team. Such behavior is unacceptable and detracts from the overall experience for all passengers involved. At the border crossing, adherence to protocol is essential for efficiency, particularly during periods of increased traffic. Your refusal to cooperate with exit procedures and subsequent delays further compounded the challenges faced by both our team and fellow passengers. Despite efforts to accommodate your needs, including arranging a speedboat transfer to ensure you will not miss the tour, it is regrettable that your actions resulted in disruptions for others. Our boat has a capacity of 80 people, and while there were 50 guests on board, the demand to limit bookings to 15 individuals was not feasible. We value the safety and enjoyment of all our guests and do not discriminate based on gender or nationality. The shared nature of our tours is intended to foster a sense of community and inclusivity. It is disappointing that your experience was marred by unnecessary conflict. Your decision to depart from the tour prematurely, despite explanations provided regarding logistical constraints, further complicated the situation and led to additional inconveniences. Our tour package includes provisions for meals and transportation as outlined in the itinerary. While we made efforts to accommodate your requests, including arranging a return transfer via speedboat, which carry extra charge but we provided for free as an act of good will, your decision to disembark prematurely necessitated independent arrangements for transportation going back and other sustenance. In conclusion, we emphasize the importance of mutual respect and understanding in fostering a positive experience for all. Our commitment to customer service remains unwavering, and we strive to ensure that each guest receives equal treatment and consideration. We appreciate your attention to these matters and hope that future interactions will be characterized by cooperation and mutual respect, not just for us but for all. Regards
My experience with this Musandam trip was particularly disappointing, as it fell short of the expectations set by the operator's website. The issues were numerous: Firstly, the driver was impolite and had poor communication skills, giving the impression that he was not satisfied with his job. Secondly, despite arriving between 12:30-1:00pm, we nearly missed the initial part of the tour. Blaming it on the peak season was not an acceptable excuse, as they should have been prepared for potential delays. Thirdly, upon reaching Musandam, we were informed that we would be joining a different boat, which was unexpected and not communicated beforehand. Fourthly, being four girls among a boat full of men raised safety concerns. While the operator claimed it was a shared boat, they should have prioritized the safety and comfort of their customers. Fifthly, the website advertised a maximum of 15 people on the boat, but in reality, there were around 75 individuals, leading to overcrowding and discomfort. Sixthly, when we raised our concerns, the operator failed to provide any solutions. Instead, they asked us, four ladies, to wait until 5 pm for other guests to finish, leaving us stranded without accommodation or food until 3 pm. This forced us to arrange our own transport back to Dubai at an additional cost. Seventhly, there was no apology from any of the staff or the owner for the inconveniences we faced throughout the trip. It is evident that the owner prioritizes profit over customer safety and satisfaction, displaying a lack of care and regard for their clients' well-being.

Saifco Travel and Tourism is an inefficient our operator. We booked and paid and then got a demand to ASAP our passports on WhatsApp. Big problem - they did not provide a WhatsApp number. We ar using another tour operator which looks after its clients.
Great fjords. I never expected to see scenaries like this in this part of the world. And we saw a pod of dolphins swimming along our boat within 10 minutes after the cruise started. A memory I will cherish for a long time to come.
