On this 3-hour walking tour we’ll explore Milan’s historic quarter and uncover the fascinating story of the Jewish community, past and present. We’ll learn about the city’s different historical periods and their impact on Jewish life, hear captivating stories about Jewish life in Milan today and in the past, and discover the history of the Jewish people in Italy. Along the way we’ll follow Jewish traces and monuments hidden in the streets in surprising locations. We’ll also visit Milan’s must-see landmarks - the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, and more – and reveal the Jewish connections within them. A highlight of the tour is the Sinagoga Centrale di Milano, just 10 minutes from the Duomo (entry by prior arrangement). Important notes: synagogue entry requires a minimum donation of €10 per person, advance booking, and passports for security. For last-minute bookings, entry cannot be guaranteed. The Holocaust Memorial is not included but can be visited independently.
