Istanbul City Highlights Tour w/Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosque

We had an excellent tour of the Topkapi Palace with Hasan this afternoon. Hasan is a very knowledgeable and interesting guide who brought the history of the place to life. He is also extremely polite and professional. I highly recommend tours with him to other visitors.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Fatih Mehmet as our tour guide during our visit to the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Fatih is incredibly knowledgeable—a true history buff who brought centuries of history to life with his engaging storytelling. Fatih’s kindness and patience stood out as he thoughtfully answered all of our questions and ensured everyone in our group felt included. Our new profound information about Turkey’s history and beautiful architecture wouldn’t have been possible without Elfi’s help. From the moment we met her she was nothing but welcoming and kind to both my children ages eleven and fifteen, and to my parents who are both in their sixties. She was also extremely accommodating letting us take breaks and taking our pictures when needed. Turkey is well known for the Ottoman Empire and is rich in history. My family and I got to learn way more about the oriental culture with the help of Elfi’s knowledge. She is extremely intelligent, funny, relatable, and she is all for going at the tourists pace. From helping us shop for jewelry and souvenirs in the grand bazaar, to taking us to lunch at an exquisite (and cheap) kebap restaurant. She carried interesting and meaningful conversation with all my family members, especially with my fifteen year old. And considering it was only her first year, it felt as if she was an expert at the job. My family and I enjoyed Turkey so much and would definitely go again. Elfi is certainly a five stars in my book and I would recommend her over any tour guide. Parents review: My parents have never been to Turkey before, so for their first time they had a marvelous time. They would also recommend it to anyone who could take the time to fly out to Turkey. But before they recommended it to anyone, they’re going to go back first!!

The tour was great. We got so many information about the turkey culture, empires and history of it all. Elif our tour guide waa fantastic. She was very knowledgeable in all the information and knows her stuff well.

The guide Abdul and driver were both very nice and polite. The included lunch in tour could be better, but overall the tour was satisfying, had no complaints. Would definitely recomend there services.

We run this tour and it is a real scam. Advertised in a language they don’t really offer, and then despite not receiving the Service they keep your money. The shuttle Service was stressful. No one speaks English or Spanish or informs you of what will happen, so they literally put you in a minibus and there they leave you waiting and watching what happens. Literal, more than half an hour standing after picking up everyone watching those “responsible” drink coffee on the street, or smoke, without explaining anything. Like a real kidnapping. When they finally take us with the guide (2 hours later) things do not improve. We hire in Spanish through a platform and the guide only speaks English. The visit had very little content, you cannot leave the group in line without taking advantage of that time to speak. In short, a purposeless, poor visit that I would not even make in English. This tour was a real scam. We booked through a plateform that advertised this experience in Spanish. That was far from reality. Transportation service was stressful. We were picked up and no one spoke a single word of English. No explanations provided and I literally felt as being kidnapped. When the whole group was reunited, we spent more than half an hour inside the bus, just watching how the tour leaders talked and drunk coffee... I am still wondering why, since no explanations provided. When we finally met the guide (2 hours later), the situation didn’t improve at all. Poorer explanations, speech was sometimes difficult to follow. I understand that it might be Monday to access Hagia Sophia, but not using this precious waiting time to give further explanations on the country and its culture is just ridiculous. Definitely, I wouldn’t do it again. Let's go. C’est unites total arnaque. Service proposes in plusieurs langues sur des autres plateformes, ce qui n’est pas du tout le cas. Service de transport à améliorer, on dirait on s’est fait kidnapper. Pas un mot pour nous explain ce qui se passe dans le bus. Plus d’une demi heure d’attente, personne nous a dit pourquoi. Le service de guidage n’est pas top non plus. Explanations pauvres, j’attendais beaucoup plus..

Burak is an excellent guide. He knows the ins and outs of the city, and gave us a unique experience of the beautiful highlights of Istanbul. His English is of high level, and he is pleasant and knowledgeable. He very kindly gave us tips for seeing the rest of the city on our own. I highly recommend his services.
