Hurghada : Cairo Excursion by Flight, Pyramid GEM or Ancient Museum

Description
After visiting the Pyramids of Giza, visit the Great Sphinx, by far the largest surviving sphinx. It consists of a human head on the body of a lion. The Sphinx was carved from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Felucca cruise on the Nile is available for a fee.

Meet your Egyptological tour guide at the museum to start your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world with over 100,000 artifacts, or the Ancient Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Select your preferred museum during the booking process.
The further course of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the day, if time permits, you will have the opportunity to go shopping before embarking on the return journey to Hurghada.
If the return flight from Cairo is late in the evening, we will spend some time visiting the London of the Middle Ages (Khan el Klalili market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also be helpful to the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)
Afterwards, your mind needs some rest. You can, for example, relax with a boat trip on the Nile and discover Cairo from the water.

Had Mr Falcon as our guide, very knowledgeable and friendly, really passionate about his job, had plenty of time to see everything, overall an excellent trip, well recommended
Absolutely incredible day from start to finish and one of the highlights of our holiday. Everything was organised perfectly, with an early hotel pickup and a smooth journey that made the whole experience stress-free from the outset. The day was packed with unforgettable sights and experiences. Seeing the Pyramids for the first time is something that simply can't be described properly until you're standing there in person. They're far more impressive than any photograph can capture. The visit to the Sphinx was equally impressive, and our guide made sure we had plenty of time to take everything in while sharing fascinating facts and stories about the history of the site. After a well-earned lunch break, we continued to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which was simply outstanding. The collection of artefacts is breathtaking, and seeing the treasures of Tutankhamun up close was a real bucket-list moment. The exhibits are beautifully displayed and give an incredible insight into Egypt's rich history. A special mention must go to our guide, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly organised throughout the day. They kept everything running smoothly, avoided unnecessary queues where possible, and made the experience both informative and enjoyable for adults and children alike. Our driver was also excellent, ensuring we travelled safely and comfortably throughout. The entire excursion felt professional, well-managed, and great value for money. We always felt safe, looked after, and able to enjoy every moment without worrying about the logistics. This truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt. Thank you for an unforgettable day! 😊👏👏👏
Best Tour. Adam was really nice, and had nices storys about the history
That trip was amazing, service brilliant. Mr Falcon very good leader, I can recommend him to everyone. I never forget this trip in my life.
We had a fantastic day on our trip from Hurghada to Cairo. The schedule was perfectly organized. What was particularly nice was that we visited the old town early in the morning. At that time, it was still pleasantly cool, allowing us to enjoy the atmosphere, the impressive architecture, and true Cairo in peace. Afterwards, we went to the Pyramids of Giza. We were also out early here, which made the temperatures very pleasant and gave us enough time to marvel at this impressive wonder of the world and take great photos. Seeing the pyramids and the Sphinx live was definitely a highlight of the trip. After that, we visited the museum, which impressed with its fascinating exhibits and the rich history of Egypt. As a nice conclusion, there was a small Nile cruise, where one could experience Cairo from a completely different perspective. Special praise goes to our guide Adam. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and accompanied us through the day with a lot of knowledge, humor, and commitment. His explanations were engaging and understandable, and he took care of the group at all times. Overall, it was an unforgettable day with many highlights, very good organization, and an excellent guide. Anyone vacationing in Hurghada should not miss this trip to Cairo!
Booked an excellent tour very last minute through Get Your Guide. The organization was top-notch, and especially the tour guide Adam led us perfectly through the day. He presented the Egyptian culture to us in excellent German in an engaging and entertaining manner. I can only highly recommend this tour.
the 1hr 15 min flight from hurgada was pretty smooth , we were met right outside the arrivals by the tour guides and we were lucky enough to get Mr Falcon. This guy had a wealth of knowledge about egypt and let us know exactly what was going on and when. The pittas we had after the pyramids were amazing, an absolute highlight. The restaurant was good, Museum is stunning and worth the money alone. We paid the extra £10 for the nile sunset boat ride which was a good experience and went on for alot longer than we thought. all in all a fantastic trip don't waste your money on the big holiday company trips as these are the same price but have a 6-7 hour bus ride each direction. unless you enjoy a 4 am start to your day
Was able to experience Cairo first hand with Sam (Book Tour Egypt) who was an excellent guide. Was packed with great information from start to end. Was packed with fun times and he made my wife and I feel safe in all areas and kept us involved throughout. Would deffo recommend him. 5*
We had booked the trip for the second time and were again very satisfied. Our tour guide Jakob managed to bring us closer to his country, the culture, and especially Cairo as the center of Egypt in the relatively short time we had. Jakob not only went through the offered program but also provided insights into completely different areas of Cairo - the City of the Dead or the City of Garbage Collectors was very impressive for us as a family from Berlin and showed us how fortunate we are to live the way we do. I would book this tour with Kairos again at any time - TOP and once again a special thanks to Jakob.
Amazing tour!!! Much better than we expected! Our tour guide was very attentive and knowledgeable, caring person!
