Join us on our Hills of Athens Walking Tour and experience within 3-4 hours of easy walking/hiking, the important sites of classical, roman and modern Athens while using pedestrian and walking paths. An active experience that manages to encompass natural beauty, ancient history and amazing vantage points within only a few hours hike.

We will climb up to Lykavittos. A Cretaceous limestone hill that offers stunning views of Athens!
Pass by the bustling Kolonaki area, where Athenians enjoy their coffee and drinks!
See the Greek Parliament from the outside and if lucky the change of guards!
Walk through the beautiful National Garden.
Walk by the the temple (we are not entering)
Walk by Hadrian's Arch.
We will walk by the famous Odeon of Herod Atticus (not entering)
Walk all the way up to Areopagus Hill
Hike all the way to Filopappou Hill
Hike to Pnyx, where the Athenians used to assembly in ancient times in order to discuss and vote about important matters!

Me and a friend of mine and our kids told us to combine our Sunday walk with something more interesting for the kids and finally the idea proved excellent! In addition to seeing our city "otherwise", as we don't know it in the madness of everyday life, the little ones enjoy it. The organization was perfect, our escort Kostas very informed and pleasant. I will definitely soon again prefer the Aegean Outdoors and for excursions outside Athens!

A fabulous way to hike the highlights of Greece - Mt Olympus, Vikos Gorge, Meteora. Guides were efficient, caring, attentive and above all, really good people. Food was outstanding.
