On a private half day tour you are going to set back in time to see one of the remaining wonders of the ancient world the Great Pyramids of Giza and their guarding Sphinx. You will be accompanied with an expert Egyptologist tour guide who will provide a fascinating introduction of the Pyramids of Choeps, Khafre and Menakaure. You will have you free time if you want to enter inside any of the Pyramids (additional cost) your guide is not permitted to enter with you though. (additional cost).Then you will get the opportunity for a 30 minutes camel ride which is an opportunity not to be missed and it can be once in a life time. After visiting the Pyramids you will have the opportunity to take photos at the plateau with the three Pyramids at your back ground. Driving down the plateau you will come at the feet of the Sphinx the guarding symbol of the Pyramids. You can end your trip by visiting a papyrus institute to see a demonstration of how ancient Egyptians used to make their papyrus.

I booked the Half-Day Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx tour with Deluxe Tours and it was one of the highlights of my trip. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish — pickup was on time, the vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the whole experience felt smooth and stress-free. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the history of the pyramids in a simple and engaging way, and also taking fantastic photos for us! The camel ride was so much fun and gave us beautiful panoramic views of the pyramids. I felt safe, well taken care of, and truly enjoyed every moment. We had the best experience and tour with Ghada (mama!)! She took us around the pyramids and gave us a tour we will never ever forget. It was an amazing day, but having Ghada as our tour guide made the whole trip unforgettable. She went above and beyond to tell us everything and was the best photographer. We already miss Ghada!

I really would love to leave a better review because the communication with the company was great and we really liked the transportation and driver. However, we were really disappointed that our half-day tour of the site was cut quite short so that the guide could take us to a “papyrus museum” that was really just a souvenir shop. He wouldn’t let us view the Sphinx up close, rather he rushed us out the gate and said we had a lot of extra time so we would be going to this “museum.” Beyond that, we had booked lunch at a restaurant within the site so once we left, we were not allowed to renter for our lunch. The guide had left us alone by then, so the solution the driver gave us was to bribe a guard to let us back in. We’re happy we saw the pyramids, but we’re not happy we paid for a half-day tour and were rushed through to visit the shop of a friend of our guide.

Firstly considering the tour visit claimed to be cut short. The guide gave you all necessary time to cover all sights and given your hotel the Mena House near location to pyramids the transportation time to and from hotel included in tour duration is negligible. Thats was why you thought that tour was shorter than advertised. Any guide does not force clients to go to papyrus museums if you were not interested. Your claim that you were left alone to go back to the pyramids area to have lunch, you had your tickets valid for the day and the guide has already finished his job touring the area and it is not his responsibility to drive you to the restaurant and wait for you in the car while you have lunch, it is the the responsibility of driver. Your third claim that you did not have enough time to see the Sphinx, you were again at the pyramids area and passed by the Sphinx after your lunch. If you felt that you did not have enough time at the first time you could have asked the driver to stop again by the Sphinx and enjoy more time by it. Took a half-day tour of the Pyramids, Sphinx, and a camel ride with guide Ahmed Salah. Ahmed was knowledgeable and engaging, making the history come alive. The tour efficiently covered the main sights, though it felt a bit rushed. Added bonuses were a relaxing Nile sail and a quick bazaar visit, which were delightful. Be prepared for the possible wind - bring sunscreen, water, and a hat that won’t fall off due to wind. Great for a quick but comprehensive glimpse of Egypt's wonders. We had a wonderful time on this tour. Deluxe travels did a great job in lining up our travel. Our guide Titto was amazing, he answered all our questions and explained very well.
Our guide Guide Mahmoud badr was extremely knowledgeable but also very entertaining. He was friendly and helpful to myself and my father. He was happy to change plans, very flexible! We had a most memorable day, so thank you. Our driver Mahmoud abiad also was very professional!
Our trip was really amazing! Our guide was really friendly and very knowledgeable. We took really fun photos at the pyramids. Our schedule was quite flexible and some stops were optional, but all of them were totally worth a visit. The length was just right as we saw many things but it was not too exhausting. Strongly recommend this to anyone staying in Cairo or Giza!
Our favorite part was riding the camels. The camel handlers took great photos of us. So much fun! The pyramids were impressive, but we decided not to go in because there were so many tourists. Mahmoud, our guide, is very knowledgeable. We learned a lot and had a great time. This is a ‘must do’ tour. We also saw the Giza pyramids sound and light show the night before with another guide, Mohammed. Also a must see. Mohamed was a great guide, too! This company provides private tours, which is the best way to see all the sites in Cairo and Giza.
