Guided tour to Pyramids of Giza, Sakkara & Memphis: Private Tour with Lunch

We went as a group of three friends and we booked through Last Minute company. The admission fee was worth every penny because we skipped all the ticket lines. We spent three hours at Giza then two at Sakkara then one at Memphis with driving in between. The atmosphere at the Step Pyramid was spiritual in a way I cant explain. Crowd size was large at the Sphinx but our guide Yasser took us to a hidden corner for a quiet break. Staff at the museum helped us find the restroom without any trouble. This tour is best for friends who want a mix of adventure and chilling. I remember we bought cold sugarcane juice from a small cart near the pyramids. The driver waited for us while we finished our drinks. We also saw the Valley Temple where they mummified the pharaohs. That place gave me goosebumps. Fabulous tour indeed.

I was tired from work and decided to do this private tour to clear my head. The admission fee was included in the online payment so I just showed my phone. Length of visit was eight hours but it felt like two because time flew. The atmosphere at the Great Pyramid of Cheops was busy but exciting like a festival. Crowd size was huge near the entrance but inside the museum it was fine. Staff were all wearing uniforms and they spoke good English. This tour is best for solo travelers who need a mental escape. I sat on a rock near the Sphinx and watched people take selfies for ten minutes. The guide told me that the pyramids were originally covered in white limestone. I imagined how they must have shone under the sun. Then we ate lunch and I had the best grilled chicken of my life. Charming place for sure.

Guide very kind but not used to large groups, does not succeed and the program and instructions are not clear. French very approximate, and no added values.

I organised my tour with Twity at the President Hotel. She was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. I had quite a limited window of time to go and visit the Pyramids and she had a car waiting for me within 30 minutes. The driver Mohamed was excellent and, like Twity, very professional and friendly. I wanted to ride a horse through the pyramids and they arranged this so it was just me with the guide. It was a fantastic experience. Afterwards Mohamed took me to to see the Sphynx and then to a place that demonstrated how papyrus is made. I highly recommend working with this company - they are very professional, safe and friendly plus excellent value.

The tour was safe and nice we did enjoy it. It is very quick so take in as much as you can and be prepared to visit commission shops with high prices no pressure just say no it is ok. There is always someone trying to sell something but that's how they make a living. I personally refused any animal rides as they are abused and I will not endorse it. Air pollution is very bad in Cairo Giza due to millions of old run down vehicles, but better in Luxor. Be prepared for a lot of noise, cars, people, pollution, rubbish and stray dogs cats. But also very friendly fun Egyptian people and great monuments, it is a once in a lifetime experience and it is better to have a tour guide. Our tour company gave us a nice lady Rana who kept me and my daughter safe and well informed for all our tours in Cairo thankyou.
