Piazza Venezia is one of Rome’s main traffic hubs, located at the foot of the Capitoline Hill and dominated by the massive white monument of Altare della Patria. It’s a central crossroads where ancient Rome, Renaissance streets, and modern city life all meet.
Trajan’s Forum was the last and most elaborate of the Imperial forums in ancient Rome, built by Emperor Trajan to celebrate his military victories. It included grand public spaces, markets, and the famous Trajan’s Column, which still stands as a detailed stone “comic strip” of his campaigns.
We overlook the colosseum for photos and hear a quick history of the site and sometimes grab a coffee
Circus Maximus was the largest stadium in ancient Rome, originally used for thrilling chariot races that could hold over 150,000 spectators. Today, it’s a massive open archaeological area where visitors can still walk through the footprint of one of the greatest entertainment venues of the Roman Empire.
Bocca della Verità is an ancient marble mask famous for the legend that it bites the hands of liars. It became world-famous after appearing in the movie Roman Holiday.
Teatro di Marcello is an ancient Roman theater commissioned by Julius Caesar and completed by Augustus, often called the “mini Colosseum” because of its similar design. Today it’s partly integrated into medieval buildings, showing layers of Rome’s history in one structure.

I will tell Emily!
The tour was amazing, and really worth it!! Our tour guide Salvo was the best, we had an incredible experience and enjoyed every second of the tour! If you consider doing a tour we really recommend Not boring tours:) and we also did the Vatican museum with Salvo as our guide and he did an incredible job, the info was not boring and the museum was stunning! For me and my family it was a very positive experience from the booking, the tours and all the things we got to see and learn about, thanks to Mike and Salvo!

A truly fun and enjoyable experience! The golf cart tour was the perfect way to explore Rome without the hassle, taking in breathtaking views and hidden gems of the city. Highly recommended!
We had a great time on this tour with an excellent italian guide. Our group had a guide named Salvo who knew so much about Roman history but still made it so fun while teaching us about it all. After this tour I can see why they are called “NOT boring tours”- they do actually live up to that name!! Would recommend for anyone visiting Rome!!!
Thank you so much for joining the tour and for the lovely review! We really appreciate it — hope to see you again soon!
Absolutely legendary tour with Salvo in Rome! If you’re even thinking about booking a golf cart tour, do yourself a favor and book it with Salvo. This man is an absolute riot—had us laughing nonstop while still dropping insane amounts of knowledge about Rome. Salvo took us all over the city, hitting the best spots with zero stress. My dad and I were cracking up the entire time—Salvo’s humor is next level, and he somehow makes 2,000 years of history feel like the funniest, most interesting thing ever. He took us through hidden gems, told hilarious (and probably slightly exaggerated) stories, and made the whole experience unforgettable. The golf cart is the way to go—no crazy walking, no exhaustion, just straight-up good times cruising through the streets of Rome with the funniest, most knowledgeable guide out there. Salvo is the GOAT of Rome tours. If you don’t book with him, you’re doing Rome wrong.
Thanks a lot! This is an amazing review—probably the greatest one I’ve ever gotten! Seriously, it means so much that you took the time to write all this out. I do my best! See you next time when you’re in Rome!
