Homemade GF Pasta Night

We signed up for a private, gluten-free cooking class, and it ended up being just the two of us! The class is hosted in a charming, cozy building complete with a kitchen, dining area, restroom, and a dedicated space for your belongings. We started the evening with some fresh bruschetta before diving into making three different kinds of homemade pasta using GF flour. Our instructor was incredibly informative, fun, and engaging, and the final dishes tasted absolutely delicious. To top it all off, he served wine and limoncello. We had a fantastic time!

What a fun experience! Amazing GF pasta!

This was an excellent class! Christian clearly has years of cooking experience and is a gifted and enthusiastic teacher. The pasta was delicious… as good as any glutenated pasta I’ve ever had. We just got home and can’t wait to try some of his recipes!! Thanks again Christian!

GF pasta 10/10

Fun and engaging class and one of our favorite experiences in Rome. The pasta is delicious, the location is stunning, and chef Christian is kind and welcoming. We made 3 types of gf pasta and all were incredible. He provides a recipe book so it’s even easier to take your new skills home with you.

Great gluten free pasta experience!

Christian was incredible. We had a blast and he taught us well. We will now make pasta at home. And his Wild boar ragú is simply amazing. He’s entertaining, a great teacher and I highly recommend it!

Operator response

Thank you for this amazing review — it truly made my morning shine! I’m so happy to hear that you had such a blast in the kitchen. When a class is full of energy and curiosity like yours, teaching becomes pure joy. And knowing that you’ll now be making fresh pasta at home… that’s the best compliment a chef can receive. I’m also delighted that the wild boar ragù won your heart — it’s one of those dishes that carries a bit of Roman soul in every bite. Hearing you call it “simply amazing” makes all the hours of slow cooking worth it. Your enthusiasm, your smiles, and your willingness to dive into the experience made the class special from my side too. Thank you for the recommendation — it means the world. Whenever you’re ready for more Italian cooking adventures or want to explore deeper into Roman sauces, I’ll be here — apron on, ragù simmering, and plenty of fun waiting for you.

Amazing experience

Christian did a wonderful job teaching and making sure everyone was included. The food we created was amazing! Even those of us who can eat gluten were enthusiastic about how great the gluten free pasta tasted. We are looking forward to trying the recipes at home.

Operator response

Thank you for this fantastic review — it genuinely made me smile! I’m so happy to hear that the class felt inclusive for everyone. Making sure each guest feels involved, confident, and part of the fun is always my priority, and your words capture exactly the atmosphere I love to create. And yes… the gluten‑free pasta surprise never gets old. When even the gluten‑eaters get excited about how good it tastes, that’s when I know the magic has happened. Fresh dough, the right technique, and a bit of Roman spirit — suddenly gluten‑free becomes simply great pasta. I love that you’re excited to try the recipes at home. Your kitchen is about to turn into a little corner of Rome, and I can already imagine the smiles around the table. Whenever you’re ready for more Italian cooking adventures or want to explore deeper into gluten‑free techniques, I’ll be here — apron on, hands in the dough, and plenty of stories to share.

Amazing food and great knowledge passed on from a very experienced chef!!

My wife and I had an excellent experience cooking with Christian!! We have since bought back to Australia what we have learned and im pleased to say our kids love the pasta!!

Operator response

Thank you so much for this wonderful message — it truly made me smile! I’m thrilled to hear that you and your wife had such an excellent experience in the kitchen. Cooking together is already special, but bringing those techniques all the way back to Australia and having your kids love the pasta… that’s the real victory. It means the recipes didn’t just stay in Rome — they became part of your home. Your enthusiasm and curiosity made the class a joy from my side too. When guests take what they’ve learned and make it their own, that’s the highest compliment. Whenever you’re back in Italy, the kitchen is open and ready for more Italian cooking adventures.

A highlight of our trip to Rome

We took this class as a family, including our two teenagers, and it ended up being one of the best things we did in Rome. Chef Christian was warm, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. Exactly the kind of host who makes a hands-on class fun for kids and adults alike. The real revelation was the gluten-free pasta. We made it fresh from scratch, and honestly, it rivals “regular” pasta in texture and flavor. We also made a beautiful fresh pesto and a proper tiramisu, all from scratch. The proof came after we got home: we recreated the pasta for family, and my brother-in-law, a professional pastry chef, was genuinely amazed by the quality of the dough. That says a lot. If you’re traveling with celiac or gluten-sensitive family members and worried about missing out on the food experience in Italy, book this class. You won’t feel like you’re settling for a substitute. You’ll leave with techniques and recipes that hold up to professional scrutiny, and have a great time doing it.

Operator response

Thank you so much for this extraordinary review — it truly made my day. I’m thrilled to hear that your family, teenagers included, felt this was one of the very best things you did in Rome. Creating an experience that’s warm, patient, and genuinely fun for both kids and adults is exactly what I aim for, so your words mean a lot. And yes… the gluten‑free pasta revelation is always my favorite moment. When people realize that fresh GF dough — made from scratch, with the right technique — can rival “regular” pasta in both texture and flavor, that’s when the magic happens. Pairing it with a bright, fragrant pesto and a proper tiramisù made entirely by hand completes the experience beautifully. But the part that truly made me smile was hearing about what happened after you got home. If your brother‑in‑law — a professional pastry chef — was impressed by the dough you recreated, that’s the highest praise possible. It tells me you didn’t just enjoy the class… you mastered the techniques. For travelers with celiac or gluten sensitivity, I know how stressful it can feel to navigate Italian cuisine. That’s why I put so much heart into teaching methods and recipes that aren’t “substitutes,” but real Italian dishes that stand proudly on their own. You leave with skills you can trust, flavors you can repeat, and memories that last. Thank you again for your warmth, your enthusiasm, and your trust. You’re always welcome back for more gluten‑free Italian cooking whenever Rome calls you again.

Delightful and delicious experience

What a delightful small-group cooking class just outside Rome! Set in an idyllic countryside location, we enjoyed a hands-on lesson making fresh gluten-free pasta and gnocchi with an engaging chef who was an exceptional teacher—patient, fun, and full of tips. Sipping wine while rolling dough added to the authentic Italian charm. The bonus PDF cookbook download means I can recreate these dishes at home. A must-do for gluten-free foodies—highly recommend!
