The title "Tedli Summit" trek is a misnomer - it is a pleasent, circular three hour (plus) walk on Mt. Tedli, to height of about 2,200m, but not to the summit. It is worth doing, but be aware of what it is, and especially what it is not! Denis
The hike itself was actually quite nice and nice. Why I still only give 3 stars is that I don't think you should claim all day for it. You get let out at a gift shop and at a shop where you look at how argan oil is made. It was still quite interesting for us because we did not know it yet, but everyone who had already made several trips from Marrakech heard it again. It's kind of annoying when you think you've booked a bigger hike and in the end you only hike 3h. I would have preferred to start 1h earlier, skip the stops on the way and also skip lunch after the tour and be back around noon.
3hrs hike with not much sightseeing but trecking instead. Fine be me and the small group of 5. Well organized day, from pick up (10min earlier than agreed!), to guide, lunch and drive back to Marrakech. This tour and guide is oriented for physical effort, less chating and tourism... but you gotta to climb to 2500m and enjoy a stunning scenary 🤩
Highly recommend this day trip for those who love mountains and outdoor activities. The hike is quite easy, the ways going up and coming back were different roads so you would not get bored. Our guide Hasan is nice and helpful, after finishing the hike they served us tagine in a local restaurant which according to Hasan, its tagine was cooked differently with those in the Medina, and it was true, that's the best tagine I had in the whole trip in Morocco.
The communication before the trip was poor, with confirmation of the booking and pickup details only being sent after chasing the night before. As several reviews mention, the trip included an hour waiting at an Argan Oil cooperative, which most of the group found frustrating. The breakfast was a very minimal. The actual walk was excellent, with beautiful views and a 'proper hike' up the mountain. Overall distance was 7km (3km up, 4km down) over reasonable tracks and paths with only some loose scree/stones. Good shoes recommended. We weren't taken to the waterfall mentioned in the itinerary. Lunch was at the very end of the walk at 3:30pm, and was appreciated by everyone. Overall a great experience and guide, but could have done with smoother organisation and less time at the Argan Oil place.
It was a fantastic experience in the snowy mountains of Imlil about 1h 30 from Marrakech. Our guide was super friendly prepared and available to help
The drive was smooth, and the hike guide, Mohammed took us up the mountain is a challenging yet fun way off the normal trail path. The scenery was beautiful as it had recently snowed and the view payoff at the end was definitely worth the climb, giving a view of the entire valley.
Tour was postponed by organizers but never happened. I asked several times if the tour will be postponed but i got no propossl.
Very good guide! Recommended for a nice one day hike. The mountains were covered with snow and very beautiful
Excellent active day in the mountains with Mohamed the guide who was great. If you want a physically demanding but very rewarding day in the Atlas Mountains then I would book this.
