Welcome Pickups cancelled my airport pickup!

Welcome Pickups cancelled my airport transfer at the last minute. I made reservations two months ago and received several confirmations including the drivers name and photo. However, 20 minutes before my plane landed in Athens, I was emailed that the pickup was cancelled due to no drivers available in Athens,

Operator response

Excellent day with Glykeria!

Excellent driver!!! We booked another day trip with her. She is very informative and knowledgeable about the area and answered all our questions! The wine tour was very quiet and we had to buy a bottle to take home! We would recommend our driver!

Interesting Tour outside of Athens

Ilias (I’m pretty sure that was his name) was terrific. His English was great and he answered all kinds of questions. We visited the Corinth Canal first and then were to visit an archeological site but found it was closed on Tuesday. We did visit the castle of Acrocorinth which is pretty interesting and totally different from Roman ruins. We had lunch at that site and it was delicious! Not expensive and very fresh. Then on to a tour and wine tasting (they have some wines that are aged in amphorae which we’d never seen before) which was very good as well. It was a good day.
