We spent three fantastic days in the desert with our guide and driver Yassine. He was professional, friendly, punctual, and always attentive to our comfort and safety. Thanks to him, we were able to discover beautiful landscapes and have an authentic and memorable experience. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and Yassine always took the time to answer our questions and share his knowledge about the region. We felt in good hands throughout the trip. We highly recommend this excursion to anyone who wants to discover the desert. Thank you, Yassine, for these three unforgettable days!
Amazing Experience, The trip guide was very friendly and made s lot of new friends. Definitely recommended!
If you travel to Morocco, you must do the Sahara desert tour, it was so different with other places, nice to see and many things to experience there. However, you will be unlucky one if you book the tour with this agency, they organized this tour was very bad, not professional and like a mess. They tell us about the time and location at 11 pm one the day right before we do the tour ( but I needed to keep chasing them asking them about the time otherwise they may tell us late and we cannot sleep early to prepare for the trip but waiting for them instead ). On the first day, they just put us in the vans and sit with other people from different tours, and no tourguide, just the driver speak english, then in the afternoon, the driver dropped us at the place where to do the camel ride but he didnt say anything or explain how it work, when we asked the driver, he said he didnt know, the agency said he just need to drop us here. We was very upset and worry because it was so crowded and people started leaving, so we had to walk around and ask the information what we need to do although this was supposed the tour guide job, and when we got to the camp, no body tell us what tent number we would stay or what activities we would do, the people working there keep asking what is our tourguide or our travel agency so they can help us sorted out. At that moment we was so anxiety because we saw people keep moving to their tent and pack their stuffs and going to have dinner, but we had to wait until we find out our tent, oh yeah we made it at the end by ourselves, no tourguide here. The second day, we were put to sit with the group doing the same tour with us and had the tourguide, but because we didnt join the tour with the group at the beginning, so he not allow us to sit in the front but the back as there were people sitting there the day before , yeah you can imaging how your back feel when you sit at the back for the whole day. If you want to enjoy the desert tour fully, then dont do it with this agency.
I hope this review gives people a chance to make an educated choice when they book their tour. Pros: it is significantly cheaper to do this type of tour than to do it on your own by renting a car from Fes to Marrakech. And you don’t have to find your way, navigate the traffic stops, or deal with lodging. It was easy. Also it’s fun to be in a group and meet other travelers. The desert was stunning, the desert camp was very nice, as well as the lodging in Ouzazarte. Food was ample. Our driver was good and safe. Cons: This tour was one of many that all were the same. It felt like I was on an assembly line. It didn’t feel very authentic - we didn’t get very immersed in the culture at all. You are in the car a lot, which is to be expected. But we didn’t have any kind of tour “guide”, like one that explains the different stops/history/culture to you - We had a driver that spoke minimal English. We would have a stop for like 30 minutes in a place, but there was no “guiding”. We are at the same restaurants as all the other tours driving to the desert that day. We did not do any hiking in the Dades Valley as was described in the itinerary, we just pulled over to take a picture. You stop at some cooperatives to learn how artisans make their goods, but it felt a bit like an infomercial. Also, I had previously seen all of this in Fes so it was a bit duplicative for me. This tour was fine for me because it met my goals of getting to the desert, staying in a camp, and seeing Ait Ben Haddou (for 1 hour, no tour included). I would not personally do this again, because it’s not really my style. But the ease of the trip and provided transportation was really nice. It was professional. I hope this review helps others decide what is best for their travel desires.
Beautiful tent bivouac, private bathroom, comfortable beds, good and plentiful food, staff who also speak Italian, very helpful. Beautiful music at the fire in the evening. Nice hike with camels. Council
Beautiful views, amazing ride, good tour guide and brand new quads and for a very good price! Give a tip to the guide though;)
It’s a very beautiful bivouac, they treat us very well, the food is good, the Rooms are beautiful, the staff is good, I love it.
The desert exceeded expectations. The desert accommodation we chose was the one of luxury and was very good. The meals were good. The rest of the route was interesting, the Guide was always available. It would be important to have more details of the entire trip. Overall I recommend the experience.
The part of my trip to Morocco that I was most excited about was this tour. I researched a lot and waited with great anticipation. First of all, the agency was incredibly attentive. They answered all of my questions, and I want to thank them for that. Beyond that, our driver and guide, MOMO, was everything to us. He took great care of us every time, did whatever we asked, and he’s genuinely an amazing person. We were so lucky to have him as our guide. He’s a highly professional driver who got us safely through many difficult roads to each destination. Momo was truly the main character who made this trip unforgettable. Thank you so much for everything, Momo! ❤️
Had a great time on this tour with our guide Tarek. He created a great environment for us to have a really fun time with the others on our tour and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. Consider yourself lucky if you get him as a guide! The desert was beautiful and there were plenty of stops between the major stops which broke the trip up perfectly.
There was a mix up at the start but the locals and guides put in 100% effort to get us back to the bus. Was a long journey to the desert and back but was really memorable, we loved the camels and sandboarding.
I enjoyed this trip so much it was one of the highlights experience in Morocco. it can be long tiring day but seen so many good things along the road.
We completely LOVED this experience!!! Great views on the drive with Abdul, then we arrived at this AMAZING dessert camp after a camel ride and watching the sunset in the dessert, and goes on and on... recommended 100%, and our cheers for our tour organizer Hassan, very kind and great communication!
It was a great tour! The scenery was great and the staff were very friendly and nice ^ ^ The stars at night were amazing and a view you can only see here. The tents were also very nice, with toilets and showers. You should definitely try it!
Beautiful experience, very knowledgeable, helpful and kind organizers and tour guides. An experience definitely not to be missed if you come to Morocco! We arrived in the Merzouga desert, we took a camel ride to reach the luxurious camp in the middle of the Sahara desert, we had dinner with everyone and after that there was a party where we played, danced and sang around the fire, I spent a day completely forgetting about my cell phone and the social world
Wonderful experience, first we did a camel ride, then in the evening a fantastic party with music and everything!!😁😎 I highly recommend!
Amazing camp experience with Hassan! We came really late to Merzouga and he accommodated us in a luxury camp at a normal price (others tried to take advantage before) Our first guide Hussein was amazing he gave us a camel ride with a local flavor to it, sharing the experience of the Berber people in Sahara. At night there was music good food and the star gazing experience is unique at the Sahara. In the morning after watching the sunset we had a nice breakfast and after that a tour in quads through the dunes. 100% recommended
Amazing trip! Everything was organized above my expectations! Trip with camels fantastic! Very friendly guides who made us photos. Camp very beautiful, comfortable, very good food, entertainment with drums! Great!
A great guy, funny, nice, sociable and always smiling. He has an off-road vehicle that will take you to the desert to the sand hills😎⭐️
The stay in the desert with Hassan was unforgettable. Riding on the sand on a board, on a camel, in a car, as well as dancing with drums and fire. Overnight stay in a luxurious tent. And of course Sunrise and sunset in the desert.
