The info did not match what the tickets include. It is a side gig for company, times were different as to when to be there. I communicated with your company to confirm booking the night before- was told skip the line and entry with host. We arrived to their office on time the person helping us was extremely not fit for the job. He was unable to print our douments (broken printer, out of paper- it was a joke - office is located out of proper reach of web- there was not a host, person walked us out to side walk and pointed out where to go. No map was provided to us. We were told there would be one at Vatican. That is half true, there is a scan code but very poor info. This is one of the worst tours I have purchase from your company. Between my bookings, I travel with large group regularly. I will be spreading the word. Your tours must be very clear and advise the tourist exactly what is supplied- This company should not be listed on your website. Even your company thought there was a host!!!
Terrible organization; we had purchased tickets for 4 people, and we had to wait a long time for the printed tickets, with no email delivery of the tickets. Additionally, inside we had to exchange two tickets, wasting time and incurring further wait times. We had booked for 10:30, arrived before 10, and by 11 we still did not have the tickets. No explanations...
Received tour ticket after tour started so I missed the tour and my partner next even got a ticket. Awful experience.
Absolutely terrible experience. They sold our tickets before our time slot. They mention calling multiple times, most phones calls show failed. I did call him back 2 hours prior to our time and he kept telling me I missed our time and I said it was for noon and he hung up. We arrived on time and he told me I never confirmed. Terrible, shady experience. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND
Skip the line is completely worth it. Never waited. The guide walked us right through security. Regular ticket purchasers waited hours.
Very kind young people followed us throughout. Well done!! We lost the first day due to a delay, and they found us a pass for the next day.
It was extremely frustrating to arrive for a confirmed and paid for tour to be advised that the vendor hadn’t secured tickets. When we expressed our displeasure the third party operator was contacted and called us. He proceeded to berate us because we hadn’t responded to his what’s app message. This message arrived 16 hours prior to the activity but didn’t have any identification that assured me if its authenticity. He was rude and hung up on me. Nothing about this experience was professional and we were advised to cross the street and wait in line for many hours to try and rebook as the tour wasn’t available the following day. We were scheduled to leave the following day so options were limited.
We had booked tickets at home. Upon arrival, the 11:30 entry was overbooked. At 12 o'clock, it was possible for 80 euros more without a receipt and only cash, strange.
We had booked tickets for 2:30 PM, but since the Pope held an audience, we were rescheduled to 5:30 PM. It was simple and straightforward. What was great was that there was hardly anything going on at the Vatican Museum at that time, so we could take our time and take photos without being disturbed. Although the tickets are relatively expensive, it is definitely worth it. At the entrance, we waited at most 5 minutes. Our guide was also great; he explained everything clearly in English.
Don’t buy the ticket through Viator. It was such a mess to get our tickets. And we met many other ppl with the same problem. Just buy it through the venue and save yourself a headache. Overall the Vatican and Sistine chapel was great. It felt a little like The Hotel California bc once you start, you can’t never leave; it’s massive and it takes hours to even get to a point that you can get outside. It was neverending. We went in May, which isn’t high season for travel, but we were rushed through some parts by the tour guide, and it was so horribly packed that people were pushing us around for hours. I’ve never been so annoyed by the behavior of others during a paid tour. They were so rude. The statues aren’t going anywhere, so you don’t have to push and run into me 20 times. It’ll all still be there when it’s your turn to see.
