Cabaret Moulin Rouge is the ultimate symbol of bohemian Montmartre. Toulouse-Lautrec did a lot of his painting work there. Dancers and clients both sat for him. A lot of his famous works depicts the cabarets of Montmartre.
Montmartre Village is the heart of old Paris charm, with narrow, cobblestone streets, ivy-covered buildings, and a cozy, bohemian atmosphere. Once a haven for artists like Picasso and Modigliani, this village vibe is alive in the bustling cafes, art-filled squares, and tucked-away gardens. A stroll here feels like stepping back in time, with each corner revealing a new story.
Moulin de la Galette is a beloved symbol of Montmartre's history, known for its iconic windmill and lively past. Once a bustling dance hall, it inspired masterpieces by Renoir and Van Gogh, capturing the spirit of 19th-century Paris. Today, it remains a picturesque reminder of Montmartre’s artistic charm, nestled among cobbled streets and leafy paths
Place du tertre is often referred to as Artists' Square. Local artists sell their art there. Or you see them put the final touches to their paintings. You can also have your portrait drawn. Or your caricature, if you dare!
The locals of Montmartre have their own vineyards. And they are proud of it. The plot of land is small, but it is very scenic. Hard to find, but so worth it. The view is striking - with vines in the foreground, and the white sacré coeur church in the background. Sacre Coeur is a world-known Montmartre icon. It is a striking sight. All white and shiny, and with all of Paris lying at its feet (and yours)

Highly recommend tours with Discover Tours and this one of Montmartre was excellent. The guide's knowledge was endless and she had a wonderful personality. The terrain was very steep and the day was hot, but Anna made sure we stopped in the shade and had frequent breaks during the climb. If in the area, this is a must!
An enjoyable and informative walk, easy to do with surprisingly minimal steps. Ana was an engaging guide and she made the village come alive.
We thoroughly enjoyed Ana's informative and entertaining Montmatre Discover Walk. She provided interesting information throughout, filled out the history of the district and showed us some beautiful scenes. We are very pleased to have done this walking tour and know you will enjoy it too!
Nima the tour guide was very knowledgeable and articulate. He knew the history of town and took time to take us through the history as related to area.
Bad start with poor meeting point. Lots of people around with not great description of exact meeting location. Guide was 1/2 hour late due to metro problems, Tour itself went well and guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Our guide, "Leo", was terrific. She is a Paris native who speaks perfect English so it was easy for us to understand. She had great stories to tell us at every turn which really enhanced our appreciation for Montmartre. She was easy to talk to and very open to questions. This was definitely time and money well spent!
Maria was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect English. Answered every question. And Monmarte tour is a must!
Nima was a great and amazing guide. Handled the large group very well and made it a good experience for all.
What an amazing experience with Yago. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Montmartre and took us through every street with intention. His questions, prep work and story-telling was incredibly on point. 100% recommend.
