Itinerary
Wonder around the famous "rock" with its Parthenon, Temple of Nike, and Temple of Erechtheion plus a stop at Herodes Atticus Theatre.
The Acropolis Museum, one of the most important museums in the world, houses the findings of only one archaeological site, the Athenian Acropolis.
At the main square of Athens with the Parliament building, you will attend the changing of the guards next to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
A quick stop at the Neoclassical Maximos Mansion which is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Greece since 1982.
The only stadium in the world built entirely of marble. Greeks know it as 'Kallimarmaro' stadium which means "beautiful marble". This is where the classic Marathon ends.
Here stands one of the greatest ancient temples dedicated to the God Zeus. It was once home to one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World.
In between all the exploring, we will enjoy a real Greek lunch away from the tourist traps surrounding the above sites! Both lunch and drinks are included!
At the end of the Sounio Peninsula at the southernmost point of Attica, lies the Temple of Poseidon within a fort that protects the coast of Attica. Made entirely of white marble, it was erected in the middle of the 5th century BC and built to honor Poseidon, god of the sea. Ideal to visit at sunset (optional) and finish a great tour!

For tour guide was very knowledgeable and respectful. Enjoyed the conversations with him along with the tour.
Thank you!
Athens tour was AMAZING… host was fantastic! Overall 5stars! Port pickup was well worth it to have them keep our luggage for the day while we toured and then dropped off at our hotel.
Thank you!
This private excursion was by far the best we have ever been on. Nikos was an exceptional guide providing us with a private and personable experience. He provided a wealth of knowledge and history throughout the tour. When it came to lunch, Niko’s ordered for us and that was such a delightful experience. What great taste! Wow!! Nikos was amazing in his guide and making us feel exquisite. Nikos, thank you for the best tour ever and for being caring and compassionate with our needs. You truly are the best!! And to the World….if you haven’t booked a tour with him….you have no idea what you are missing!
Raul, Jessica, Nicole & Michael ... Thank you very much for the "extra" nice review. Nicer ... than we expected :) It was very pleasant to explore with the four of you and exchange knowledge and ideas! Maybe we meet again!! All the best. Nikos
We were met promptly at our hotel in Athens and began our day with Nikos. He was very informative and assisted us with visiting the Acropolis and Parthenon. We had a wonderful traditional Greek lunch with way more food than we should eat, but it was worth ever minute. We also visited the Temple of Zeus, the Changing of the guard at Parliament,
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I can't say enough great things about our tour with Nikos. He was very friendly and worked with us to customize our tour to see what we wanted to see within the time we had. We were able tour Corinth in the morning and Athens in the afternoon. Everywhere we went, he would park right at the entrance and then coordinate our pickup. It was awesome and saved us so many steps, especially when you are getting ready to climb the Acropolis. Finally, he helps you to understand Greek culture, both in the past and now. We got to see so many things. After the tour, we had a very enjoyable dinner where he ordered out some local favorites. I would highly recommend using Nikos for a tour of Greece.
Kelly & Karen. This was a great day for us too. We appreciate your review a lot! Your communication and friendliness made our "work" a lot easier. It is a bonus when traveling and exploring with people like yourselves. Thank you very much for taking this tour with our boutique but very specialized agency. NG
This tour exceeded our expectations . We were greeted at our hotel by Theo our guide. He was attentive and knowledgeable. He explained step by step what we were going to see and its history. In addition, let him order lunch you will not be disappointed with the food. My only regret is that I have so little time in Greece . My next trip around there will definitely be book Eudaimonia tours . Thanks to Nikos and Theo for helping us create a lasting family memory Thanks Adele V.
Hi Adele. It was very pleasant for us to accommodate all your tours and transfers for you from the time you arrived in Greece until you flew back home. Thank you very much for the nice review. We would love to see you again. NG
We arranged with Eudaimonia for the tour to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. Our guide, Panayiotis ,picked us up in a comfortable sedan, on time at our hotel , The St George in Athens. The ride to the temple was very pleasant in that we were able to see many beaches with people swimming enjoying the beautiful weather. When we arrived at the site we got in the short line to purchase our tickets. Our guide was very helpful to get us oriented. Everyone was there to see the spectacular sunset through the columns of the temple . The temple itself is very impressive. Thanks to our excellent guide from Eudaimonia, our tour was something we will remember with pleasure. I would definitely recommend this tour to our friends when they visit Athens.
Thank you very much once again.
Our guide, Nikos, was a wonderful tour guide. He was very personable and knowledgeable, and brought a very personal touch to everything we did that day.
Thank you very much, Art!!
Having only one full day in Athens, I read as many reviews as I could before booking this full-day tour guided by Theo. I am still in awe of all I was able to see, all with a knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and kind guide. I began at The Acropolis right when they opened, so I felt like I had it to myself. Same with the Acropolis Museum an hour later. Theo was so flexible - when I asked "what's that?" about something atop a hill, he said, "do you want to go there?" and we did - thus resulting in the BEST views/photos of the city (Chapel of St. George - Mt. Lycabettus). We also visited the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Changing of the Guards at Athens Parliament and the Panathinaic Olympic Stadium...all in one day and this included a lovely Greek lunch! Nikos handled my booking with great care and detail from beginning to end. I ended up booking Theo for my airport transfer the next day, and was grateful for the chance to thank him again for the incredible tour! As a solo traveler, I appreciated this experience which felt like touring a new city with a friend. Thank you to Theo and Nikos!!
No matter how many reviews you read the important thing is to know how to read between the lines. We tried to make exploring Athens (which we ... don't like as a city) an experience by being at each place at the right time. You were very fast and full of energy so we manage to do not only the main sites but lots of extras. It was your ... fault! Thanks for the great review.
We used EUDAIMONIA Private Tours for this half day tour and were blown away by the friendly, informative guide to the temple of Poseidon. I have misplaced the business card but our owner driver made many additional stops along the way to accomodate my wife's love of photography. His wife cooked some amazing greek areas for us to enjoy. on our way back to our hotel our tour was kindly extended to take in Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center, Athens, Greece. ... where the new Greek National Library and Opera House are located. .We loved the interior the library, the greenery and the architecture. We found out during our tour we could have booked EUDAEMONIA for the four day tour we took from Athens, including the Meteora Monasteries for not much more than we paid for the G.O. Tours (we would probably never use them again). We also booked EUDAEMONIA for our transfer to Athens Airport...same price and far more comfortable than a taxi. If in Athens i would not use anyone else but EUDAEMONIA.
Thank you very much for the awesome review~ We are very pleased you've appreciated our efforts!
