I don’t usually do guided tours, but my sister convinced me to book this one while we were in Athens. I honestly didn’t expect to feel so moved. The Acropolis was incredible (obviously), but what made the whole thing special was how personal our guide made it. For me, the highlight was just standing in front of the Parthenon with the sunset behind it. Quiet moment, goosebumps.
Thanks to our guide, we saw Athens not just as a collection of ruins and museums, but as a living, breathing city with a rich past and vibrant present. Their patience, insight, and enthusiasm were deeply appreciated, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had them lead our journey.
My mom planned this trip for me, and it was truly special. As someone with a disability, I was a bit worried about getting around, but the Stavros was amazing! Whole team were super helpful and accommodating, taking care of me and my wheelchair needs with such kindness and respect. It really made the experience unforgettable. Huge thanks to the team for making it possible for me to enjoy everything without any hassle.
Any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly, which really put our minds at ease. It's a huge plus when a company keeps you so well informed.
The walking pace was just right, with plenty of breaks, photo stops, and even time to try some local snacks and gelato (a big hit with the kids!). We also appreciated how the guide recommended family-friendly restaurants and hidden spots we wouldn’t have discovered on our own.
Yeah, so me and my husband ended up doing this Athens tour and honestly, it turned out better than we expected. The places were super cool, Acropolis was massive, and we really liked walking around Plaka too. Alex was professional, explained stuff without making it boring. Everything went smoothly, and we didn’t have to stress about where to go or what to do. Good day overall.
Honestly, it was totally worth it. The Acropolis and it's museum were standouts so much history and Stavros made it all really engaging. Loved walking through Plaka too, such a charming old neighborhood. It's a packed day, so make sure to wear comfy shoes.
