At the Dubai Dune Buggy Speed Desert Adventure! Guests have the opportunity to book various options for off-road rides, including: ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle): Guests can choose between single or double (two-seater) quad bikes. These vehicles are designed to handle different types of terrains, making them suitable for exploring the desert dunes. Dune Buggy: The Dune Buggy options come in either a 2-seater or a 4-seater configuration. These buggies are off-road vehicles designed to navigate through challenging desert landscapes. Each option allows guests to enjoy a 30-minute drive in the sand dunes, providing an exhilarating and unforgettable experience in the Dubai desert. It's important to follow any safety guidelines provided by the adventure facility to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. In the Desert Camp Short Camel Ride: Upon reaching the camp, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a short camel ride, experience a traditional mode of transportation in the desert and adds to the overall desert experience. Henna Design: Guests can have intricate henna designs applied to their skin, which is a common practice in many Middle Eastern cultures. Tanoura Dance: A mesmerizing Sufi-inspired dance where performers spin gracefully in colorful skirts, creating a visual spectacle. Having taken the Premium Desert Safari some 10 years ago and loved it, we were really looking forward to doing it again. However, whilst our driver was very nice and did his best for us, the experience was far from fun. The drive to the dunes from our pick up hotel took over 1 hour. We spent about 45 minutes dune bashing in the 4X4 which was fun. Our driver was not part of a "convoy" so we managed to have some alone time on the dunes. He helped us do a little sand boarding which was fun. Then came the drive to the Camp. He told us it would be around another 1 hour drive (which was surprising as the last time we did this tour - the camp was close to the dunes). But the drive took us over 1 and a half hours. So many vehicles all going to the camp area meant traffic jams on the narrow roads. We missed our chance of a photo op to watch the sun go down and our eventual arrival at the camp meant also we did not have time for camel rides. Drinks were not allowed to be served until 7.00pm and then there was a mad dash for the buffet. We had been told that if we didn't leave by 7.30pm it could take us 2-3 hours to return to our hotel as all the vehicles would be leaving at the same time. We managed to see two stage acts but no belly dancers whilst we were there. The camp is now purpose built and lacks the Bedouin style that I remembered from our previous visit. Our driver was helpful and very nice but the number of tourists and vehicles did not provide us with the pleasant experience we have had before.

Kindly note that during the holy month of Ramadan, belly dance performances are not conducted at the camp in respect of local traditions. We apologize if this was not clearly communicated in advance. The trip was so good. Shobi is a great driver and guide, picked me up on time, we had an amazing time driving up and down in the desert, tried the ride in the desert, and watched a very good show. The dance was very good, food was good too.
