This Dubai Desert Safari adventure typically kicks off with a pick-up from your location in the afternoon, with drive times ranging from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on where you are. As you travel, you'll witness the urban landscape of Dubai gradually give way to vast, golden dunes. Upon reaching the desert's meeting point, you'll have a chance to take a short break, use the restroom, and explore the area. Here, you can also rent a quad bike or buggy for an exhilarating self-driving experience on the sand dunes (pre-booking is highly recommended for this activity). Pick-up usually occurs between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM in winter, extending to as late as 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM during the hottest summer months or depending on the package chosen. A 4x4 vehicle, typically a Land Cruiser, will pick you up from your hotel or designated location in Dubai.
The Red Dunes Desert Safari in Dubai offers an exciting blend of adventure, culture, and nature in the Arabian desert. Pickup is available from all major hotels and residences in Dubai City. Guests staying in Dubai Airport Hotels will be picked up from nearby hotel. For guests staying at Dubai Marina, JLT, JBR, or Palm Jumeirah, pickup time will be confirmed on the day of the tour. Port Rashid Cruise Terminal: Make sure to mention your cruise name and terminal number when booking Pickup times are approximate and may be adjusted due to Dubai traffic conditions. Guests are requested to be ready at their hotel lobby 10 minutes before pickup. Seasonal Pickup Timings: Winter (Nov–Feb) 1:45–2:30 PM; Summer (Mar–Oct) 2:30–3:30 PM; Peak Summer up to 4:30 PM. Pickup outside Dubai city limits (e.g., JA Hotels, Expo City, Dubailand, Nad Al Sheba, Arabian Ranches, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah) can be arranged with extra charges or by upgrading to a private vehicle.

We really enjoyed this desert safari tour. It was a memorable tour with my friends and family. The tour guide really assisted us in sand surfing.it was great fun .we were laughing at each other; the quad baking experience was fantastic; and the guide took numerous photographs for us. This was a very special day!!! Abbas picked us up at our hotel and drove us out to the desert (about 40 minutes). He was very attentive to our needs and our safety. After blasting across the desert dunes on a quad, with my wife taking video, we eventually arrived back at the compound, where I found out that my wife had all this awesome video...of the blue sky! She said she was busy holding on and missed all the dunes shots. Abbas told us to hop into his Toyota Sequoia. We went to a local gas station and he let almost all the air out of the tires (to 15psi) and then took us back to the dunes, where he really made up for my missing video. We went "dune bashing" in his truck!!! Then out for a BBQ and a great fire show. And then dropped off at our hotel. What an awesome experience!! Thank you, Abbas!! Handling quad bike was very easy in desert safari as compare to mountains , back home in California we do ride quad bikes but is difficult to handle them in muddy and rainy slippery mountains but keep one thing in mind don’t get stuck in sand otherwise you will wait for the operator to pull the tires out of sand. Desert Safari tour is a MUST when you visit Dubai. The dunes are amazing. We had so much fun with the dune bashing and the sand boarding was a real thrill. We also did the quad bikes for a total adventure drive and we are never let down. Camp site activities are good. Our guide took photos of our camel ride, sheesha and more. The dinner was good and plenty and the fire show is superb! Book in advance with this company or contact them.

We had a wonderful experience! Our tour guide Ahmed contacted us regarding the exact pick up time and he was on the dot. Although we were already coordinated earlier by company staff regarding the itineraries! Incredible experience with a mix of adrenaline and fun. Did the quad biking and that was really fun. You have to do this!! Dune bashing was exciting. Ahmed help us a lot of beatiful photos. He is a pro even in photography. Best guide we've ever had !! Excellent staff and well organized.
