Catch Nigauds... little time really in 4×4 , 30 minutes max.. and 1 hour drive to get to the start of the dunes .. Long wait at the restaurant without anything happening!! Decent barbecue dinner..only 3 people ensure the show and the guide asks to leave before the end because of traffic jams of 4×4...on this area dedicated to tourists there are 52 places offering barbecue / show after the 4×4...75€ per person is unjustified..we it was the 4×4 that interested us...very disappointed....
Excellent tour thanks to Lahcen from Oceanair! Very helpful knowledgeable and funny. You made our trip! The afternoon is great from start to finish enjoyed every part of it. Would definitely recommend upgrading to the buggies over the quads. Food was delicious. I booked through GetYourGuide which was alot cheaper than our hotel. Process was very easy. 10/10
Incredible desert safari with family, everything was great and this thanks to our super guide Ghafoor of Ocean air. He was amazingly kind, very welcoming and very professional this! From the beginning, he explained the course of the day and accompanied us for each activity. He made sure we were satisfied at every moment of the day. We will add that in addition to being a very good guide and he is also a good photographer ☺️. The camp is also very beautiful. Thank you Ghafoor again!
We 4 seniors with a young couple boarded a Toyota 4X4 vehicle in Abu Dhabi and headed out towards the highest sand dunes of the surreal surrounding desert. Having signed Liability Disclaimer，we experienced the thrill of "dune bashing" as our car spiral up and down the enormous golden dunes. Then we took pictures with camels. Upon reaching the Bedouin campsite, we were welcomed with traditional Arabic coffee and had the option to ride a camel. Then, enjoy a specially prepared barbecue dinner. Later, enjoy a Tanoura dance show, then watch as a captivating belly dancer enchants you with her swirling dances.
The best adventure so far. We booked Klook Desert Safari by 4x4 and dinner n camel ride at Al Khayma camp Our guide Malek, was helpful and respectful We also went on quad bike rides which we paid separately( not inclusive in the package) at the first stop of the desert Our driver for the day cum guide Malek,took us safely out of town to the desert in a 4x4, waited while we had our quad rides, drove thru the desert thrilling dune bashing n helped with skate boarding activity The day ended with performances and a hearty buffet dinner at Al Khayma campsite before we were sent back safely at about 9 pm to our hotel
Sorina , Romania ,We loved it! It was a truly wonderful experience. Usman was a great guide, he took us on a half-day long trip, giving us the chance to see the beauty of the desert dunes, while also feeling the thrills of SUV offroading. The show was good, the food was plenty, varied and tasty and the camel ride was very funny. We are very pleased and are looking forward to visit again soon.
Unfortunately the description does not completely correspond to the truth. The activity was scheduled for 3pm and on the same day at 11am we were informed that collection would be done at 2pm. (We should have been given more notice) The person responsible for transport did not speak English and the car, contrary to what was advertised, was old and not 4x4. When we arrived at the activity site, we waited 40 minutes for the 4x4 that went on safari in the dunes. Strengths: Safari in the Dunes Negative points: Bad meal, lots of confusion and little variety. I rode a camel in just 1 minute and we didn't even do it out of pity for the camels (they looked like they were suffering)
The desert was a beautiful sight. The motorcade of cars driving through the desert was also nice!! However, the BBQ meal was disappointing. I also had coffee, but it was instant coffee... Anyway, don't expect too much from the food. Well, it was a cheap tour, so I guess that can't be helped?
Zafar was THE BEST driver and multi tasking host!! Zafar made sure we had the most amazing experience!! He made sure we were safe too!! We were laughing and screaming with excitement! Vehicle full of complete strangers bonded over the desert 4x4 experience created by Zafar!! Can’t wait to come back and do it again on my next trip!!
Latif was our guide, very experienced, he knows the trails like no one else! My son forgot one game at Royal Eagle Camp and we managed to get it back! The desert tour is unmissable, exciting and beautiful! Thank you Latif and team for your attention! It was awesome!
