The Montmartre sketching and painting tour was a wonderful experience. The teacher was very friendly, helpful, and patient. She explained everything clearly and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. I can highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for your message. We are very pleased you enjoyed this drawing tour in Montmartre. We hope to welcome you again !
We had a wonderful time strolling and drawing in Montemare with Evelyn. If you are looking for a way to learn a little about the area in a unique manner, this is it. Stroll, learn and draw. While our masterpieces are not necessarily fit for a Musuem, they capture the fun of the afternoon just right - plus, we saw the backside of Montemare, walking through gardens and quaint streets - what Parisian days are made of.
Dear Theresa, thank you so much for your message and for attending our drawing tour in Montmartre. I am very happy you spent a nice time. I built this experience to give the opportunity to discover Paris off of beaten tracks and to share my passion for art and culture. Hope to welcome you again !
We spent a wonderful afternoon with Evelyne. Very friendly, pedagogue and adapts to all levels of drawing. It is recommended
Merci de votre message et plaisir partagé. C'est toujours un bonheur de transmettre ma passion pour Paris et pour les arts et de voir que les participants apprécient l'expérience ! J'espère avoir le plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau.
If you have not been to Montmartre or read anything about it this is a great tour. Our guide had nice information about the artists who lived here. We did three sketches in three hours. If you are expecting a full art class this is not it. Just for beginners! The guide is very pleasant and has good English!
Thank you for your message. It was very nice to spend this artistic afternoon with you in Montmartre.
I had a lovely time during my Montmartre tour with a small group of three. Despite the rain, the tour went smoothly as we found a nearby café for the next drawing exercise. I learned so much about the neighborhood and the influential people who used to live there. It was great to explore different art mediums and practice them throughout the workshop. You can really tell how passionate Evelyne is in the way she spoke about each topic. She's also a very kind person. I’ll definitely be booking more workshops in the future, and I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something a little different.

This was a great way to start our stay in Paris. Our tour guide/artist was very kind and helpful. We learned about Montmarte and started a few drawing projects.

Thank you Russel for your message and for attending our drawing tour in Montmartre. We are very happy that you enjoyed this artistic afternoon with us and would be very pleased to welcome you again !
Artist and guide Evelyne was knowledgeable, inspiring, and full of amazing information about art and Montmartre. We had so much fun drawing, sketching, and watercoloring. We started by sketching with pencils of differing hardnesses, then moved on to charcoals. We finished up the art experience by making a picture of the Au Lapin Agile Cabaret with watercolor. This art experience alone was well worth the tour, but in addition, Evelyne took us on a walking tour throughout Montmartre, where we learned much about the neighborhood. Particularly exciting was sketching the Moulin de la Galette and learning about its history. We highly recommend this lovely tour!
Thank you Linda for your excellent feedback. We want to offer the best to our participants, sharing our artistic and historical knowlegde about this beautiful district of Montmartre. We are very happy to read you loved the tour with us. Hope to see you again during a next trip in Paris !
Completely, a wasted afternoon. It was sold as a “workshop”, when in fact it was an uninteresting tour with a few minutes of art (with no instruction). The English speaking guide had poor language skills. She was more interested in leaving the group to go home on a Friday afternoon, leaving everyone stranded, several blocks from the meeting point, so that she could conveniently catch a ride home. The “art supplies” provided were of kindergarten quality, and insufficient for the group.
Dear Customer, we are very sorry that the drawing tour didn’t reach your expectations. Actually, we are a bit surprised about your feedback and would like to answer with a few elements. You are right that the tour is not a « drawing class » but as it is mentioned in the description it’s a walk in Paris which allows to both sketch and discover a neighborhood from a cultural and artistic point of view. A lot of informations about the artists who lived in Montmartre and many cultural elements are shared during the tour by the instructor, very well educated in arts & culture and who speaks English correctly, even if of course she is not a native English speaker. You are right that the tour doesn’t end at the meeting point but it has been mentioned during the afternoon that it will end in front of Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre and the instructor brought the group at that place, even if the time of the tour was over. Regarding the art supplies, each participant has his own material, except for the watercolours pencils but as it is a 60 pencils box, it seems enough for the 4 participants you were. The quality of the art supplies is very important for us, that’s why we are using only famous brands such as Faber-Castel for the watercolours pencils, Conté à Paris for the Sanguine & Sepia pencils… The satisfaction of our customers is very important for us, that’s why we could suggest for your next trip in Paris either to attend a private tour, explaining us very clearly your expectations so that we could answer them or to take a a formal drawing class indoors, to work on specific subjects you may be interested with. Thank you for attending our drawing tour and once again sorry it was different from what you expected. Very best regards.
Evelynne was a wonderful teacher and tour guide. We loved the beautiful walk through Monmarte and having the opportunity to put our artist hat on and sketch/draw with her guidance. I highly recommend this experience!
