If you start your journey from Naples: Just a short distance from Naples, the island of Capri served as a treasured retreat for Roman Emperor Augustus, who enhanced the island with the construction of villas, temples, aqueducts, and ornamental gardens.

Your guide will meet up with you and escort you on an open-top taxi ride to the top of the island called Anacapri where you can enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean sea and the island of Capri below. Then, make your way down to enjoy a guided visit of the gardens of Augustus. Enjoy some free time n the island before departing for Sorrento.

  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The blue grottoes are only accessible if weather and tide permit.
  • If the boat trip to the Blue Grottoes is not possible due to weather reasons, but the Blue Grottoes are still visitable, your guide will get you to the grottoes from land.
  • Please note, in the winter months the Gardens of Augustus as well as the Monte Solaro chairlift may be closed due to maintenance. The funicular up to Capri’s main piazza may also be closed in the winter months for maintenance, in which case it will be substituted by a short taxi ride.
