Desert Safari in a 4 x 4 with Sand Ski and Camel Ride from Dubai
Description
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel at 9am and transport you in a 4-wheel-drive luxury Land Cruiser to the Arabian desert. The Morning Desert safari program is a very popular among tourist who have limited time or have got fixed programs for the evening. Tour includes pickup and drop-off and a complete desert safari in the giant dunes which are not exploited. The guest will be taken to the safari camp where they can experience camel riding, try your skills on sand ski board. Get yourself dressed up like Sheikhs and Arabian princesses and pose for a photo. We offer light refreshments with soft beverages included in the package. Alcoholic beverages available on consumption basis. The tourist can experience the ATV (quad bike) on request at own expense. Your guide will return you to your hotel at approximately 1pm.

- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap

- One infant will be free of charge if sharing the parent's seat
- A minimum of 2 adults per booking is required
- Personal food or drinks are not allowed in the SUV's
- Dress code: Casual with closed shoes to walk on the sand
- From December until March light woolen clothes are recommended
- Subject to favorable weather conditions
- For passengers not staying in Dubai, please advise which hotel you will meet local operator in this area at time of booking
- Dubai Desert temperature may fall down around 09 degree + between December to April. Hence request all the guest to keep light woollen clothes and windbreakers
- You are booked on sharing basis hence all the co participants must cooperate with each other during the desert safari. Priority must be given for senior citizens for the front seats. Parents with children who are less than 12 years are only allowed to sit in rear seat as per the UAE Law. Driver will be the master of the roaster in allocating the seats. Alternatively the co-passengers must sort out among themselves by shifting equal time on the preferred seats. No prior request for the seats will be entertained since everyone pay the same. Anyone who does not agree to the seating allocation may request for an exclusive jeep by paying the supplementary charges directly.

⭐ 1/5 – Very Disappointing Desert Safari Experience We booked a desert safari with ABC Tourism LLC (ABC Tours Dubai), and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the high price compared to other operators. We traveled as a family with an infant, expecting a well-planned and memorable experience. The trip started from Dubai at 4:00 PM, but we only reached the desert around 5:40 PM. By the time we arrived, the sun was already setting. Dune bashing lasted for barely 5 minutes, after which all activities like camel ride and sandboarding were conducted at night. There were no daytime desert views, no proper sunset experience, and no daylight photos at all, which is one of the main highlights of a desert safari. Desert activities are meant to be enjoyed during the day, and doing everything in the dark completely ruined the experience. I have never experienced or seen a desert safari planned like this anywhere. We had upgraded to the VIP lounge, and food started around 7:00 PM. The food was decent, with a good variety and multiple options—that was the only acceptable part of the tour. Overall, the experience was poorly timed, overpriced, and extremely disappointing. Definitely not recommended, especially for families or anyone expecting a proper desert safari experience. 🙆🏼♂️🙆🏼♂️

This program allows guests to enjoy the cooler evening desert experience and our evening entertainment, which is different from the classic daytime safari. Because of this schedule, pickup occurs later, which unfortunately may not allow for full daylight dune bashing or sunset photography. Regarding the VIP lounge, we note that you booked this on a discounted price, yet we provide one of the largest and most lavish food selections in the desert safari industry, praised by guests from around the world. We are pleased to know that you found the food satisfactory. We understand that every guest’s expectations are different, especially for families with infants, and we always aim to provide a safe, comfortable, and memorable desert experience. While the Moonlight Program may not have suited your preference for daytime activities, many of our guests worldwide highly praise our safaris for their organization, variety of activities, and quality of service. Rasheed was absolutely amazing!! He was polite, helpful and real good fun! The dune bashing with him was hilarious and the drive home he was teaching us about Dubai culture and pointing things out of interest! The whole tour was great, the quad biking experience was unreal, especially getting to sea the sunset over the desert. The buffet/bbq food was really good too. Would definitely book again and hopefully get Rasheed as our driver again, big thank you to ABC tours.

It is so poorly organised - and not at all worth the money for sure. The camel ride lasted less than 5’ and it basically was a back and forth from the camp base. The camp was in such a poor sanitary condition. Surprising for Dubai. The Dune ride was nothing more than a driver enjoying himself by forcing the car to go left and right on the dune. Absolutely not interesting whatsoever.

ABC Tours was professional throughout, from hotel pick up to drop off and everything in between; the activities in the desert, like sand boarding, camel rides, quad bike and sand dune bashing were unhurried and leisurely. There was no pressure sell, the dinner was exquisite, and varied, including barbecued meats and plenty of vegetarian options. The shows were spectacular; and mesmerising.

The trip was really fun! When we got there we bought some things which made us a little later than everyone else. It put us off schedule but they made sure that we did every single activity! Everyone was very nice, especially Sadhik Ullathel!
